  • Description:  little baggy but still well fitted

Experience:   im 6ft 70kg this jacket is a great relaxed fit...water proof, lots of pockets, only slightly annoying thing is that you cant zip away the hood and it's slightly large definitley would recommend this jacket, liners are very warm and zip in well to the jacket

"Muy tecnica" 9/26/2010
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 686 Complete 2.5-Ply
  • Pros:  Impermeabilidad, 3 en 1,
  • Cons:  muy plastica, pocos bolsillos,
  • Jacket Fit:  Too big
  • My Size:  L
  • Fits Like:  XL

Experience:   Es una campera muy tecnica. Con el sistema 3 en uno, campera, polar, chaleco, puede regularse la temperatura. De todas maneras la campera es muy plastica, y no da una linda sensacion al usarla.

"Super 686" 8/27/2010
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 686 Complete 2.5-Ply
  • Pros:  Water Proofing, Removable Liners, Heaps of glove-friendly pockets.
  • Cons:  Main front zip, No inside pockets on liners,
  • Jacket Fit:  Just right
  • My Size:  M
  • Fits Like:  M
  • Description:  Arms and body lengths are perfect

Experience:   This jacket is a great jacket. 686 have produced another great product, very functional and stands up to a pretty good beating. Only negatives are that the liners do not have even simple inside pockets (ie if liners are zipped in then no inside pockets are available, you are shipwrecked if you want to keep a camera/phone warm/dry as the jacket is just a shell) and the main zip catches up and jams on the material constantly and very easily. Super frustrating so loses 1 star!!

"686 " 7/1/2010
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 686 Complete 2.5-Ply
  • Pros:  Zip out layers ,
  • Cons:   Durability ,
  • Jacket Fit:  Just right
  • My Size:  L
  • Fits Like:  L
  • Description:  Size down

Experience:   I am 6 ft and 165 pounds, as per previous guys comments go a size down I am normally a Large but took the advice and went for a Medium, it fits just right, the arm length is good as well which is normally a problem. If you are larger across the chest you may want to go for your normal size with three layers it will be a little tight. As for the build it has enough pockets without having too many to loose stuff in, the three layers zip into one another to seal it up for colder days and to prevent movement, its seam taped and has zipper seals also underarm ventilation for wormer days and the hood is large enough for a helmet but a little to big if your not wearing one. As for downfalls the shell is a little light and would tear easily, I would not use it for backcountry or more extreme park environments. Overall a good multi purpose jacket for the average Joe who is not too hard core.
