Likes: 686 is a great brand i love there stuff. There pants are always durable, water proof and always keep me warm. Also there jackets do the same. I also like 686 casual clothing as well. I own a 686 fleece like jacket and it is great. all of there gear is high quality and not very pricey. Overall this is a great brand that i would recommend.

Likes: I have owned several pairs of 686 pants and prefer their insulated versions. 686 pants generally perform better than their ratings, whether it be the waterproofing or breathability. Their pants are extremely durable and very warm...so warm that I find I do not have to wear thermals when sporting these puppies. The fit on their pants line is ideal and consistent with regular clothing.
Dislikes: I am not a huge fan of their pocket layouts but since I never carry anything in my pockets, this is not a problem for me as much as it is for others. Also, their secre feature on their pockets have to be re-design as well.

Likes: the number of pockets & mirror (especially in smarty), very waterproof, inner liner (smarty), design, material is durible (based on the 5 items i have from 686),
Dislikes: my non smarty jacket does not have enough pockets or the mirror. all the gear should have recco reflectors. zipper is on the right side.. i prefer it to be like my other normal jackets on the left~

Likes: crazy shells and cool design graphics. the shells are warm and have a pocket inside to hold your phone/ipod so its basically the perfect jacket if you dont want to wear a insulated jacket

Likes: I recently bought a 686 jacket and I can't be more happy with it. The jacket feels like it's made of quality materials and doesn't feel like those cheap sub standard products. I've used the jacket for snowboarding about 5 times not and the waterproofing is solid. The nice thing is that it's stylish enough to wear every day also.

Likes: My old Head pants just made my bottom all wet in the spring slush. After that, I bought a pair of 686 pants at a local shop, and so far, it kept me warm and dry in a manner that I could sit around in pools of slush. It's comfortable with good fit. Big thumbs up.

Likes: Toolbelt, toolbelt, toolbelt...I would say the most innovative invention of the century. Screwdrivers, wrenches, and a bottleopener in one belt. Best thing to take with you on your runs. Also, 686's other products don't fall behind. They can really waterproof the clothing. A full-day of dryness under these. Wide range of fashionable selection.

Likes: 686 is a good outerwear brand. They have some very nice products. Products like the trademarked SMARTY line of removable liners, TIMES line of limited edition co-branded products, ACC line of collaborative artist projects, the patented TOOLBELT line of functional belts, and fabric innovations like Waterproof Denim, Corduroy and Herringbone, all make up the 686 name. If there's one thing I can say about 686, it's that they have a clean design. I would definitely recommend this brand

Likes: I just picked up the 686 Gus Jacket (Plaid) and the 686 R.K. Enney Denim Snowboard pants for myself and a 686 Jacket for my wife. All (3) pieces seem well made and should last for quite some time. The Gus jacket is a solid fit with several pockets and vents.
Dislikes: Gus Jacket - There is a zipper on the chest that must be to release heat quickly. It seems as though it should be a pocket but it is not, seems out of place.

Likes: Smarty system is amazing! The removable liners are super nice... the pants can be worn separately as sweats or the liner for the jacket can be used for mobbing around town. If it gets really cold throw the liners back in and your set to go!

Likes: I really like their stuff! It has 10k waterproofing for the most part, which is the popular pick on the mountain. Their gear looks really sick too! Looks really good when riding in the park for some reason. Everyone i see in the park is either wearing burton, foursquare or 686 gear in the parks in the PNW. Anyways, really nice gear!

Likes: 686 is my favorite Pant and Jacket manufacturer. They are very innovative and try to pack a lot of features into their products at a good price. Their products last a long time. I have ridden in the same Smarty Original Cargo pants for probably 10 years. I just bought a new pair to replace the old ones. The smarty lines is nice because it adds warmth without having to wear long underwear, you can also lounge around in the liners.I have no experience with their warranty department but I believe their warranties are good. I will always buy 686 products. This is a 4.5 star company.
Dislikes: Products run a little large. Zippers are not the best but work fine for the most part.

Likes: There 15k material really sheds the PNW onslaught of moisture. The cut on mist stuff is perfect. Baggy but not huge. Tons of pockets. Levi's collabs are sick.
Dislikes: The collars on some jackets take getting used to. When zipped all the way up, they ride right under yer chin. Arm openings on some jackets are too big also. Not a biggie though.

Dislikes: External ankle studs for boots come undone easily, still second boot layer so snow doesn't get in.

Dislikes: Some of the sizes not very consistent from item to item, from model to model.. So could be a little bigger than expected.

Likes: Great company with quality designs. I do find that some of their goods are more baggy, but i guess that's how they cut their soft goods. Just sayin, if that's your thing. I have never had any complaints about my softgoods, the design and quality have always been top notch.

Likes: 686 makes great outterwear! they have a really varied selection that seems to cover all types of riders - from flashy and new school to clam neutral for old men like myself(thats just a joke). They have unique designs and elements to their clothing that make you go 'what?' and a year later you find another secret pocket! def very good quality and will keep you warm. Unless it's a shell then you need layering.

Likes: 686 are the only pants I will spend my money on. Burton pants are too baggy (I'm 5'6'' and a medium is too big for my liking) but the 686 are just right. Quality gear from the smarty line down to the entry mannual.

Likes: 686 is by far my favorite outterwear. I live in AZ where it is much warmer, and you don't need an inner layer, but love to travel to CO, WA, Canada and other places where you do need additional layers. The smarty feature allows for this versatility and 686 is one of the only lines you can find it in. The 686 outterwear fits much more comfortably than Burton. The features and protection from the elements make it my favorite outterwear.
Dislikes: Styles can be limited, and I swear the 686 plaid markers looked purple to me ;)

Likes: Really warm, dry and comfortable clothing. If you want the gangsta look go no further 686 is naturally baggy and large. 686 offer many jackets with removable liners which means they can be used in any conditions and when you get back to your accommodation just zip our and you don't need to get changed. Lastly if your one who needs lots of pockets then 686 has you covered, but if you dont like heaps of pockets 686 has kindly made the pockets so well hidden that my last trip to the snow I found a new one.

Likes: You are smart if you wear smarty pants. The removable liner pants have turned into my favorite pajama pants as well, also perfect for the ride home. I still have an original cargo pant from like 4 or 5 years ago and they are still in great condition and still very weather proof.
Dislikes: Sometimes they get too hot for me with the liners in them. no biggie, just the only thing i could think of to complain about.

The little extras everywhere are fun and interesting too. They spice up your setup and leave everyone wanting some 686 products. The designs are usually pretty spicy as well.
Dislikes: They come in more of a baggier fit, so if you're a lady that likes her slim fit, some of their products might not be for you.

Im not really a big fan of most of the wmns jkts - but they have a really varied selection that seems to cover all types of riders - from flashy and new school to clam neutral s for old men (thats just a joke). They have quirky designs and elements to their clothing that make you go 'huh?' and a year later you find another secrete pocket! oh neat! def very good quality and will keep you warm. They're very big on layering.
Dislikes: Lately, their womens jackets. I dont want to look like im wearing a peacoat... no thanks.
