"worth the money!!" 3/9/2010
Helpful Review?   (2) Yes    (4) No

  • Name: 686 KR3W Lumber Jack Softshell
  • Pros:  looks great, deep pockets, durable, price,
  • Cons:  alittle more insulation would be better ,
  • Jacket Fit:  Just right
  • My Size:  L
  • Fits Like:  L
  • Description:  alittle big

Experience:   i bought this jacket from sierra for $70 and it's worth every penny. Its very comfortable and soft. alitle more insulation would be good but you can always put a couple more layers on. there arent alot of pockets but they are really big so you can fit alot into them. The collar is really high which i like because it keeps the wind/rain/snow out of your face. If you cant decide whether or not to buy this jacket BUY IT!! You wont be dissapointed.

"Nice jacket" 7/14/2010
Helpful Review?   (1) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 686 KR3W Lumber Jack Softshell
  • Pros:  looks good, big pockets,
  • Jacket Fit:  Just right
  • My Size:  L
  • Fits Like:  L
  • Description:  nice fit

Experience:   This is a really nice softshell. You can use it in the spring or even when it gets colder with a thermal under. The high collar comes in handy when it gets a bit colder. It also has vents to dump heat. The fit is also good. I really like the fit. It's a bit on the baggy side but it's nothing too crazy where you would need to size down because it's way to big. It's a good jacket

"686 + Krew equals bueno" 3/7/2010
Helpful Review?   (1) Yes    (2) No

  • Name: 686 KR3W Lumber Jack Softshell
  • Pros:  Krew styling, great cut., Pit zips to dump heat., It looks like a flannel. Put on some Mudhoney.
  • Cons:  High collar. It grows on ya though., Only three pockets. (some may find this a pro)., You wont want to take it off.
  • Jacket Fit:  Just right
  • My Size:  L
  • Fits Like:  L
  • Description:  Fits like a large with more of a fitted but great cut.

Experience:   This soft shell jacket is top notch. Looks stylish without sacrificing performance. I have worn this jacket on a day that saw rain, snow, sun, and wind and it kept me warm and dry. While all the other cats are rockin flannels and getting sopping wet, you will be riding dry with this great jacket....

"Great looking jacket, Look good on the Mountains!" 12/31/2010
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 686 KR3W Lumber Jack Softshell
  • Pros:  Big Pockets, Looks Great! Stands out and received compliments , Warm, kept me warm dont have to wear too much
  • Cons:  Simple not alot of features with the jacket,
  • Jacket Fit:  Just right
  • My Size:  S
  • Fits Like:  M
  • Description:  It's a little bigger than a small, but gives room to wear layers.

Experience:   Well i purchased this jacket last season but got to wear it finally this season. I received many compliments from various people. It stands out in the in the slopes and on the streets, the fit is a little big, but easlily adjustable with the pull of some strings inside the jacket to fit right. I love this jacket so far and works. Def waterproof, and tough. I'm glad I got it.

"Great looking jacket!" 7/7/2010
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 686 KR3W Lumber Jack Softshell
  • Pros:  Looks great, Made from quality materials, Water resistant
  • Cons:  Pricey, Doesn't hold heat well, Needs more pockets
  • Jacket Fit:  Just right
  • My Size:  L
  • Fits Like:  L
  • Description:  Jacket runs a little big, so if you are worried about your size not fitting you correctly, have no fear!

Experience:   What a great looking jacket! I get compliments on it all the time, on and off of the slopes. If you were looking for a very warm and insulated jacket around this price range, look elsewhere. The 686 Kr3w Lumberjack lacks what other jackets have in holding in heat and keeping you warm. It had become my spring riding jacket and rain jacket. If you want chicks to dig your jacket, buy this one!

"Favorite 686" 2/19/2010
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (1) No

  • Name: 686 KR3W Lumber Jack Softshell
  • Pros:  Baggy Fit, Long, Nice Style
  • Jacket Fit:  Just right
  • My Size:  M
  • Fits Like:  L
  • Description:  686 runs slighlty larger than other brands

Experience:   This is my favorite 686 Jacket for 2010 and you can see me wearing it around the store on cold days (don't worry we will not sell you the one I wear). I am not a fan of layering, so I like that this is a simple shell jacket that give me the freedom to wiggle twist and turn. At first the blue and black color was my favorite, but the black and gunmetal combination really grea on me!
