"Awesome versatile jacket!" 4/18/2010
Helpful Review?   (1) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 686 Smarty Radiate
  • Pros:  Durable materials , style,
  • Cons:  waterproofting lacks ,
  • Jacket Fit:  Just right
  • My Size:  L
  • Fits Like:  L

Experience:   I have nothing else to say than I love the jacket. It is extremely comfortable and warm. I tend to wear my snow jacket on the baggy side and because of this, I am cannot wear out the removeable inner jacket (they are pretty huge and make me look retarded) So if you plan to wear your inner jacket around lodge/town/whatever and what not, then I would go with your normal size. I wear the jacket without the inner pants during spring days and they work out fine. However, I do want to say that 686 jacket loses its water repellency quick. I tried to use spray on water treatments but it isn't the same anymore.

"686 Smarty Radiate" 2/19/2010
Helpful Review?   (1) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 686 Smarty Radiate
  • Pros:  A$$ loads of features, Jacket design is awesome,
  • Jacket Fit:  Just right
  • My Size:  S
  • Fits Like:  S
  • Description:  Feels a little baggy, but looks good

Experience:   So I'm five six and a half and 133 pounds and I got the small size for this jacket. It has a little looser fit for me, but it still feels fine. Anyhoo awesome jacket; it's warm, looks good, and comes with tons of features. Get it!

"Medium for me" 2/11/2010
Helpful Review?   (1) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 686 Smarty Radiate
  • Pros:  Warm, Waterproof, Removable Liner,
  • Cons:  Liner gets tangled around by the wrist/hand gaiter,
  • Jacket Fit:  Just right
  • My Size:  M
  • Fits Like:  M
  • Description:  Typical Medium

Experience:   I am 5'8 and 170 lbs and I just tried this jacket on. I have not used it on the mountain. This review is intended to give you a scope of the fit: I typically wear Large hoodies and Large t-shirts but most Medium snowboard jackets fit best. I do not like a crazy baggy fit, but I don't like to look like a melvin either. I though the Medium fit just right for my size and preferences. I did the bend-down test and the hands-above-the-head test and the Medium jacket passed. I felt like it wasn't too baggy or too tight. Also, the removable liner felt like a hoodie inside so it was nice a comfortable.

"2 en 1 super calidad" 11/19/2010
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 686 Smarty Radiate
  • Pros:  2 en 1, Graficas y modelo, Calidad tecnica
  • Cons:  no,
  • Jacket Fit:  Just right
  • My Size:  L
  • Fits Like:  L

"Awesome! " 10/12/2010
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 686 Smarty Radiate
  • Pros:  Warm, Waterproofing , Stylish
  • Cons:  Heavy,
  • Jacket Fit:  Just right
  • My Size:  M
  • Fits Like:  M
  • Description:  Jacket fits but is a little long.

Experience:   This is an awesome jacket, it is perfect for those really snowy and really cold days. I often use this jacket when I go to Tahoe and it does its job protecting me from really cold winds while sitting on the ski lift. The only problem I have with this jacket is it is a really heavy jacket but other than that, what sets this jacket apart is the removable liners and stylish design.
