Likes: As a primarily snowboarder I've only tried their skis a handful of times but everytime I've noticed how fun and buttery they are. Super fun and awesome park skis. I even rock some Armada jackets and pants on occasion even on a board.
Dislikes: They don't make snowboards!

Likes: when i first started with snow sports i started with skiing so it would be an easier transition. the first brand i had rented back in the day was armada. they are an awesome company with many innovative designs to fit the needs of every different kind of rider style. the prices vary with the designs however quality does not. wonderful to learn on and even better to progress on. they also have a nice collection of outerwear for sure with numerous functions.

Likes: they have a wide selection of high quality, durable skiis. They come in many different colours and styles. theyre outerwear is very warm and comfortable too
Dislikes: the skiis get a little expensive. the outerwear needs more pockets. and the warranty program is lacking...

Likes: Armada is one of the original "indie" or independant ski companies. These are companies that often go a different direction than the major brands. This independance gives brands like Armada the chance to pursue alternative skiing markets such as the growing twin tip market and new backcountry market. Armada sponsors a large and successful freestyle and freeride team as a marketing and R&D tool. The ARV has stood out as a great crossover ski for skiers with a combination of park and freesking on their agenda.

Likes: even though this is a ski brand, i love their jackets! i ride their jackets a lot! they make them a little longer so your ass doesn't get wet when riding, and they look really good. my friends own some armada skis and they really like them as well!

Likes: Last year, Armada changed the game by introducing the new JJ, a powder ski that will surf when it's deep and actually hold an edge on the groom. In 2008-09, only a few skis such as the Armada JJ and the Rossignol S7 had tip and tail rocker, with camber underfoot. The performance of a ski designed like this cannot be understated when skiing resorts in the west. Floats through the powder all morning, then kills it in the chop and groom in the afternoon. It is no surprise that more manufacturer's are producing a ski with similar camber design this year (see Atomic Bent Chetler, 4frnt CRJ, Salmon Shogun, etc.).
If you are looking for an all around powder ski, you cannot go wrong with JJ. Armada continues to lead the way in creative ski shape and camber configurations-and introducing these to the industry first. Remember that with the rocker, you'll want to about 5-10cm of extra length compared to what you're used to riding. That said, the 185s were sold out by early December last year, and I wouldn't be surprised to see that happen again
