  • Name: Burton Aluminum Stud Snowboard Mat
  • Pros:  Look good, Not to big, Stay on as they should
  • Cons:  Not that I know of,

Experience:   I Cleaned the surface with alcohol made two straight lines, gave them a week to attach well and went riding. They stay on very well and give you good grip. At least that is my experience. Perhaps it also depends on the boots you have.

Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: Burton Aluminum Stud Snowboard Mat
  • Pros:  Pointed, stick well, aesthetically pleasing

Experience:   my gf put these on her board and they work great. she heated the board up before applying and stuck on just great. the best thing about these is that you can place them wherever you want and they pretty much look good without blocking any graphic you may already have. the pointed tips are nice

"If you need 'em, these are the best" 1/4/2011
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: Burton Aluminum Stud Snowboard Mat
  • Pros:  Strong adhesive, True grip in the worst conditions,
  • Cons:  $$$,

Experience:   I've grown out of stomp pads, but I swore by these when I started. For some reason, getting off the chair lift was the most difficult thing to master, thus I relied on a stomp pad to gain control over my board when unstrapped. From my experience with multiple stomp pads, these are the best! So great, that I purchased multiple pads to give out to any of my future, beginner buddies!...they were discontinued in '09 for some reason and are back!!!

"Studs" 1/2/2011
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: Burton Aluminum Stud Snowboard Mat
  • Pros:  Great idea, Dont get snow packed around them, Should last a long time
  • Cons:  Dont stick , Dont stick, Oh they fall off BTW

Experience:   These seem like a great idea, something that sticks up a little more then a traditional stomp pad but only if there there when you go to use them. In there defense the adhesive for these must me hard to formulate, strong enough to stick by not to strong to take off the top layer.

"Not Good at All" 12/19/2010
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: Burton Aluminum Stud Snowboard Mat
  • Pros:  -,
  • Cons:  Doesn't work,

Experience:   Studs fall off all the time and when they are on the board, they provide little to no more traction then if they were on at all.

"Burton studs" 12/16/2010
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: Burton Aluminum Stud Snowboard Mat
  • Pros:  easy to apply in designs,
  • Cons:  falls out over time, small,

Experience:   If you want a good stomp pad, this isn't it. The studs fall off over time and they are pretty small. With stomp pads, you want something big and dependable to stomp on and stick. I like they are in pieces so you can put them separately on the board wherever, but if they dont' work, they don't work.

"Pretty Good" 12/7/2010
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: Burton Aluminum Stud Snowboard Mat
  • Pros:  Look great!,
  • Cons:  Fall off,

Experience:   I really like these studs. I put these on by heating them and the board up with a dryer, sticking them, then standing on them for about five min. I still had two of them fall off last season. They provide good grip and look pimp on my '09 Custom X. Its nice to be able to put them in any pattern you like. Put them on right and buy an extra set for the ones that will fall off.
