Helpful Review?   (1) Yes    (1) No

  • Name: Burton Ambush Snowboard Boots Men's
  • Pros:  Lightweight, Speedzone Lacing,
  • Shoe Size:  10.5
  • Boot Size:  10

Experience:   I used these boots several times last season and they were by far the lightest boots I've ever had. It feels like nothing is attached to your feet while you're riding and they're pretty darn comfortable. They have a nice mid-flex to them which allows you to tweak it in the air. Can't live without the quick-lace system anymore - a tug on each side and your feet are locked in, good to go. Not sure how durable they are since I've only had them for a short while but my other Burton boots (Ion, SL-9) have lasted well over 3-4 seasons and I typically get 35-50 days a season. So far, so good!

  • Name: Burton Ambush Snowboard Boots Men's
  • Pros:  Lightest Burton Boot Ever, Super Comfortable, Easy Speed-Lacing System
  • Cons:  None,
  • Fit:  soft
  • Flex:  mid
  • Shoe Size:  10.5 or 11
  • Boot Size:  11.5

Experience:   Tried on the Burton Ruler, Moto and Ambush. All boots felt good but Ambush just seemed to fit a little better. I like to steer clear of BOA lacing (after previously using the K2 Maysis) and was also initially skeptical of the speed lacing. But I have been nothing short of impressed with how much control you have in mediating the tightness of your boot for both the lower and upper sections (which are tightened independently). This is something I thought was only possible with normal laces. First day up the mountain, no pain at all (and I always seem to get aching in my arches with boots) and no numbness in the toes. The boot is super light which reduces fatigue, and the compact sole allows for more response as your foot is closer to the board (especially if you have a Burton Channel set up with EST bindings as I have). Great product

Experience:   Seriously have not found on con's to this boot besides maybe the price. But i would say the price is worth it for these boots. I have a friend that let me borrow these boots for a day. I normally have the burton moto boots and these are just an upgraded moto. Which is definately a good thing. The boot is a much tighter fit and more comfortable padding. These boots keep all areas of my feet warm and provide stable support for spins and carving.

  • Fit:  soft

Experience:   I've tried on Burton Moto, Freestyle, Ruler and nothing fits better than the Ambush. They are super light weight, soft, durable and the heel cup fits perfectly. These boots provide a snug fit and being that they are so light, I can ride all day without feeling any pain in my feet. Highly recommend.

  • Pros:  Very Light, Laces STAY tight, Good response
  • Cons:  None,
  • Fit:  mid
  • Flex:  soft
  • Shoe Size:  13
  • Boot Size:  13

Experience:   After riding with Motos for about 2 years I just got these Ambush boots for Christmas. Love them. They are very light and have a great Gel system to keep your feet from getting tired from numerous runs. I noticed that the lacing system is easy to use, and more importantly STAYS TIGHT throughout the day. I didn't have to constantly stop and tighten them like previously. I would highly reccommend this boot to anyone who is looking for something light and comfortable. Compared to what i was used to, they make a world of difference in your fatigue and ability!

Experience:   tried a bunch of 2011 boots bc i was looking to switch it up and out of everything i tried, these were the best ones. price isnt too bad and worth it for the comfort. the speedzone lacing is on point. at first iwas skeptical that i couldnt get em as tight as i wanted, but i ended up lacing em too tight the first time around. these are definitely my next upgrade.

Experience:   I demoed these boots this week and I really liked them. They are the lightest boot Burton makes and the dual zone speed lacing system is super nice. May not be the best boots for speed demons but for freestyle/all mountain riding, they were great.
