  • Name: Burton Approach Under
  • Pros:  they're gloves,
  • Cons:  not enough waterproof,

Experience:   These gloves do not work that well. First day i used it, it got soaked and then my hand was freezing. The waterproof is not enough on these gloves. i sat in the snow for a bit and had a snowball fight at the top of the hill, and the water seeped through. There's bit of leather that prevented the water from going in but everywhere else, the water got in. Which brings me to the next complaint, the water ended up getting to the extra liner that Burton gives, so thats wet. And since water can pass through the glove, so can the cold wind. So wind and wet gloves equals freezing hands. If you want warm and dry gloves, don't get these.

  • Name: Burton Approach Under
  • Pros:  Good Insulation, Not Too Bulky,
  • Cons:  None,

Experience:   Thank goodness I found these gloves. Decently cheap and the insulation doesn't get all tangled up if your hand is sweaty. I had to buy these gloves at my resort because when I took my old ones off on the lift, the insulation got all messed up and I couldn't get my fingers back in normally..

"Pretty good" 10/4/2011
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: Burton Approach Under
  • Pros:  warm, comfortable, easy on
  • Cons:  hard to clean,

Experience:   I bought these gloves last season and they did the job. Not the best gloves but they kept me warm and I love the thumb snot feature (not sure of the technical term). They did get wet and started to smell a few days later.

"Nice and cosy" 6/28/2011
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: Burton Approach Under
  • Pros:  Waterproof + dry,
  • Cons:  Not a good fit for small hands,

Experience:   Recently purchased these gloves, liked that they had an inner fleece removable lining and chords that you could thread around your wrists to keep you gloves close to you. Kept my hands dry, although i have small hands, the small size was not small enough.

"Good price for decent gloves" 11/10/2010
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: Burton Approach Under
  • Pros:  warm and very light,
  • Cons:  durability could be better,

Experience:   Overall great gloves for the price. Purchased these gloves and tried them out for a few days then gave them to a member of our club as a giveaway. I would recommend them to new riders.

"mediocre gloves" 11/8/2010
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: Burton Approach Under
  • Pros:  Fit well, Good for fair weather,
  • Cons:  don't work well in colder weather,

Experience:   I got these gloves hoping they would keep me nice and warm while i was outside for the entire day shredding down the mountain but instead my hands were incredibly cold, i would not reccomend using these for deep winter skiing, they are geared more towards blue sky and sunny nice days.

"Average to poor quality" 6/23/2010
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: Burton Approach Under
  • Pros:  cheap, decent waterproofness,
  • Cons:  low quality, don't last long,

Experience:   Comfortable gloves, but not very warm, material seems low quality and deteriorates quickly. Didn't last me a whole season. I won't buy anything but leather gloves now.
