"Burton Baker Gloves" 4/7/2010
Helpful Review?   (2) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: Burton Baker
  • Pros:  Warm, Good fit, Comfortable
  • Cons:  Not waterproof, Not good for warmer temperatures, Moisture buildup

Experience:   Great for cold weather boarding, but not so much in warmer weather. Not being waterproof combined with moisture buildup are the biggest cons of these gloves.

"ALL season pair of gloves" 1/24/2011
Helpful Review?   (1) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: Burton Baker
  • Pros:  tough, warm, roomy

Experience:   I was surprised how much my hands could breath in these gloves, even though they're really warm. Many of the gloves i used prior to this pair weren't very tough. Usually, if I touched a rail or was working on a ramp with my hands my gloves would get dirty and wet. The tough leather on the outside protects from wetness and shields dirtiness. I also have a lot of finger room with these gloves. Lastly, this pair of gloves has an easy tightening strap that you just pull around your wrist so no snow can get inside. I recommend these gloves.

"Solid basic glove" 3/18/2010
Helpful Review?   (1) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: Burton Baker
  • Pros:  Warm, Fit,
  • Cons:  Not the most waterproof,

Experience:   I had to get some gloves one time because I forgot mine at home, so I paid the resort prices(i.e. above retail) and got a pair of these. They are a basic, warm glove that work well. They get wet pretty easy though and the waterproofing isn't exactly the best. Solid cold weather glove.

"Cold Hands" 2/22/2010
Helpful Review?   (1) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: Burton Baker
  • Pros:  Looks good,
  • Cons:  Rips easily, Bad material, Wet hands

Experience:   I got a pair of these gloves at the begiinig of the season and I hate them. Every time I wear them my hands get cold and wet within an hour. The second time I wore them te left glove ripped around part of the thumb. I would definitely recommend the Gore gloves over these. They are much better.

"I Like Em'" 2/9/2012
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: Burton Baker
  • Pros:  Warm, Dry , Good Price
  • Cons:  might be a little big, could just be an idiot and picked the wrong size,

Experience:   I loved the gloves, the were very warm, and kept my hands from being cold. So they did what they are supposed to do... The quick strap is nice because if you are checking your phone on the lift its easy to get on and off. All in all, great glove, definitely recommended.

"burton baker" 2/15/2011
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: Burton Baker
  • Pros:  Decent for the price, vents,
  • Cons:  look plain,

Experience:   I used to use the Burton Bakers. They are definitely a decent value for the price. Mine started to get rips along the seams on probably their 25-30th time used. The palms are very durable and will hold up even if you are a beginner. On a warm day you can open the zippers on top which gives you a little more air but doesn't make too much of a difference. They will keep your hands warm unless the conditions are extremely cold outside. I have been in near white out conditions at wolf creek in them before and made me wish I'd spent a little extra for thicker gloves. If you are on a budget, these are good gloves for you. If you have the money to spend, I would spend a little extra and get something with gortex insulation...burton or dakine both make great gloves with gortex.

"Solid Glove" 12/9/2010
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: Burton Baker
  • Pros:  waterproof, Warm, good grip
  • Cons:  small sizing, short,

Experience:   The Burton Baker glove is a pretty solid choice especially considering the pice. I'd say it would work best in colder riding areas as it was plenty warm and good with water resistance. The downside I've had with them came from hand sweat due to the warmth which in the end left me cold but I've had that experience with gloves over mitts so I don't think the baker is to blame here. The material is great, didn't rip and good ammount of grib. The two things I would change would be the sizing and the lenght that the glove goes us over the wrist. I do not have huge hands and I ended up with the XL and still felt a bit tight. I also like my gloves to go a ways up past the wrist and these just covered up to my fore arm a bit. Overall good gloves. The cons here are really nit-picky. I would tell people to purchase these if they are looking for a good cold weather glove and a reasonable price.

"Great pair of Gloves!" 11/21/2010
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: Burton Baker
  • Pros:  Warmth, Style, Comfort
  • Cons:  A little loose,

Experience:   These gloves are very warm, even in negative degree temperatures. They are a little loose fitting, which is beneficial when I use hand warmers, but on days without I prefer tighter fitting gloves. Overall, I would recommend these gloves to anyone!
