Burton boards with the Channel System do not ship with Retro Disks or hardware. You will need to call Burton for a free set at (800) 881-3138.

Sierra Says: The Blender is a park-specific twin with a skate-influenced design. You thought your old beater was fun? This board is an absolute blast thanks to its softer flex, Park Scoops, and new Party Rocker. Pick up a blender and butter your heart out.

Burton Says: One taste is all it takes to understand why Gabi Viteri shreds nothing but the Blender. The NEW Party Rocker lifts the tip and tail contact points for a catch-free, skate-style feel. Edges come detuned and Rail Ready, while the spoon-shaped Scoop tips let you style out sketchy situations. We even added the Channel so you can rock whatever stance your twisted heart desires.

  • Use:  Butters,Jibs,Jumps
  • Pros:  light weight , really manuverable ,
  • Cons:  a little loose ,

Experience:   My Wife has this board, along with a Gtwin and a hero 152. this is probably the only board she needs though, the Blender is a really good hybrid of a soft park board, and a stiffer all mtn freestyle board. it floats, it butters, it charges, the only reason this might not be the best overall everything board is it does handle a little loosely when your just cruising the piste. overall though great all mountain freestyle board with an emphasis on freestyle

Helpful Review?   (1) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: Burton Blender Womens

  • Pros:  spoon tip and tail, forgiving flex,

Experience:   My girlfriend managed to do her first butter on this board. She has been riding for 4 years now, but never seemed to really get them down. One day on this board, and something just clicked. She has now put on more than 10 days on it, and her progression is amazing. She is now doing things that she never had a desire to try...like a box!!! She is 38, mother of 2...ripping up black diamond runs with the kids and myself. She absolutely loves this board.

  • Pros:  Easy to ride, Nice design, Flexible

Experience:   My sister recently purchased this board because we went to threadbo for a holiday and it was her first time snowboarding. She picked it up fairly quickly and within the 2nd day she was doing black runs with myself and was able to controll the board however she wanted. This is a perfect board for beginer.

Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: Burton Blender Womens
  • Skill:  Beginner
  • Use:  Boxes,Jumps,Rails
  • Pros:  faster base that other park boards,

Experience:   It was a hard choice for my GF when she was choosing her next board as she demoed a few park boards before purchasing. In the end it came down to this board and the Flow Jewel, she ended up riding the 2 boards for half a day to see which she wanted more. This board was sliding better, picked up speed a lot better than the Jewel but at higher speeds it wasn't as stable as this board is slightly softer. We ended up purchasing the Flow in the end but only just, if it was my choice, I would have gone with this one as I like faster bases.

"Good Beginner Board" 3/17/2010
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: Burton Blender Womens
  • Skill:  Beginner
  • Use:  Groomed
  • Pros:  Easy to learn on,
  • Cons:  comes already detuned ,

Experience:   I bought my girl this board to learn on. The p-rocker shape def helps her confidence in learning how to carve. I saw her progression on the first day on it and she was able to leaf relatively fast on it. The graphics on the top sheet in my opinion will not attract females to it. She def did not catch edge as often as she did on the LTR boards. I would recommend this board for those looking for a cheaper entry level rockered baord
