"Spark up the park.Back at it like a bad habit and boasting some seriously award-winning street cred, the Blunt™ is all about park progression at liquidation prices. Giving up-and-comers the ultimate upper hand, it features the trick-landing combo of V-Rocker™ and Cruise Control™ with the added pop of NEW Jumper Cables. Effortless to ride, thanks to its rocker design, and with edges that are turned up and de-tuned, the Blunt is easy to shred and virtually impossible to catch an edge on."

"Decent Board" 3/1/2011
Helpful Review?   (1) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: Burton Blunt Snowboard Boy's
  • Skill:  Intermediate
  • Pros:  Decent Pop,
  • Cons:  Very Stiff,

Experience:   My brother owns one and we switched, when I rode it, I really didn't mind it, it didn't have the pop that my skunk ape had but it did have some stiffness that was nice when going down groomers, it made it a little more difficult to ride on kickers and tabletops but it wasn't unbearable.

  • Pros:  buttered up, easy carving,
  • Cons:  easily scratched very noticable,

Experience:   The burton blunt is a good board for the entire mountain. Scratches are very noticable and obtained easily. All around though great for hitting jumps and buttering up the slopes.

"Kills the whole mountain! " 10/22/2010
Helpful Review?   (1) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: Burton Blunt Snowboard Boy's
  • Skill:  Intermediate
  • Pros:  Park killin', Powder slayin', turbo flyin' machine!

Experience:   I picked up the 2010 model for 50% last spring and never had a chance to review it. THIS BOARD IS AWESOME! This board is one of Burton's park boards, so of course its going to rock in the park: Jumps and jibs were all excellent. The thing that took this board to the next level was that it was also very nice in the powder. The V-rocker gives a nice float as long as you have the correct sized board. Pop=good, flex= Perfect, graphic=sick. Everything adds up for am excellently priced board for tons of fun everywhere!

"Aceptable for Begginers/Pro" 10/12/2011
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: Burton Blunt Snowboard Boy's
  • Skill:  Intermediate
  • Pros:  Twin board shape, Price,

Experience:   I must agree with gnaronsnow user. this board it's good for newbies to intermediate all mountain riders. It’s great in the park (if you take care of it), groomers, and even floats well in the powder with the rocker shape. The wide version boards are recommended for use with the Large binding size, and larger than size 11 boots and heavy riders. Hope it helps you decide!

  • Name: Burton Blunt Snowboard Boy's
  • Skill:  Beginner
  • Pros:  Cheap!, All around, Starter
  • Cons:  hard to keep an edge at high speeds, not the most flexable,

Experience:   I rode this board last season at a few mountains in the Pa area. The snow there was crap but the board held its own and gave me a good season.

  • Name: Burton Blunt Snowboard Boy's
  • Skill:  Intermediate
  • Pros:  None reakly,
  • Cons:  Stiff, Heavy,

Experience:   I bought this thinking it would be a jib board, with a nice soft flex, but it's the stiffest stick I've ridden and sook heavy, I don't recommend this at all, I'm trying to sell it actually 200 anyone?

Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: Burton Blunt Snowboard Boy's
  • Skill:  Intermediate
  • Pros:  tough,
  • Cons:  unstable at high speeds! ,

Experience:   i tried this board out at winter park, it was horrible at high speeds i tested it out while wearing recon instruments/Zeal's transcend goggles and at 55-60 km/h the board started to feel a little unstable as soon as i got over 60km/h i had to slow down as it started to feel very unstable and started to shake, which is stupid as 60 km is not that fast at all. it could just be a one off fault in the manufacturing but it was very annoying.
