Sierra Says: The wide version of the Clash, the Bullet is ideal for beginners with size 11 boots. If you are looking for a board to jumpstart the learning process and launch you to the next level, the Bullet definitely deserves a serious look.

Burton Says: Getting your shred on with massive toe drag is a bogus journey. Soft, forgiving, and built wide for those blessed with big boots, the Bullet will comfortably cruise from mellow pitches to back bowls, and every stash in between. The secret lies in Cruise Control, which combines a super soft flex with upturned edges at the nose to accelerate your mastery of shred logic.

"Great Learn To Ride Board" 2/20/2011
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: Burton Bullet
  • Skill:  Beginner
  • Use:  Groomed,High Speeds,Low Speeds,Ungroomed
  • Pros:  Soft Forgiving Flex,

Experience:   I used this board to learn on and it is a great beginner board, the flex is very soft and forgiving and it is pretty difficult to catch an edge, the only downside is that it chatters at high speeds.

"Good, But Stiff" 6/7/2010
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: Burton Bullet
  • Skill:  Beginner
  • Use:  Carving,Low Speeds
  • Pros:  Doesnt Catch Edges, Good Design,
  • Cons:  Stiff, Hard to carve, Not Good in park

Experience:   My friend let me use his Bullet this year since it was old, and I didnt want to rent. It was nice, but just a little long for me since Im short and also it was very stiff. We would always go to the park, and this board was too stiff for the boxes and rails and what not. It's a good board for beginners, but if you want to start park and other intermidiant things, try a softer feeling board

"Good for beginners " 4/18/2010
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: Burton Bullet
  • Skill:  Beginner
  • Use:  Groomed,Low Speeds
  • Pros:  Stable, Durable, Good for beginners
  • Cons:  Slow, Gets old quick,

Experience:   I have used this board on a couple of occasions when I was first starting to snowboard. I liked it when at first when getting down an entire run without falling was still an accomplishment. When I began to get better, I wanted something faster and more responsive. Good for beginners but can get old quickly.

"Great beginner board (2009)" 4/16/2010
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: Burton Bullet
  • Skill:  Beginner
  • Use:  Groomed,High Speeds,Powder
  • Pros:  Stable, Wide,
  • Cons:  Heavy, extruded base, stiff

Experience:   This was my first snowboard. It is really good for learning the sport and going really fast downhill. The problem was that I started getting into Park riding, this board is soooo stiff, its not good at all for park. Its also very heavy and dents very easily

"all around good board" 3/10/2010
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: Burton Bullet
  • Skill:  Intermediate
  • Use:  Groomed,High Speeds,Low Speeds,Off Trail,Powder,Switch Riding,Ungroomed
  • Pros:  cost, old binding mount instead of new channel mounts,
  • Cons:  base seems slow (could be bad was for conditions),

Experience:   I got a dozen days on this deck. First riding I had done in 8 years. Got two days of fresh powder (on closed runs) @ Holiday Valley (NY) 2nd week of december which was great. A few more days of groomers and some off trail explored was a lot of fun, the stiffer board flex with wide stance held up great. I moved my bindings inside as much as possible and got more of a soft feel out of nose and tail.
