"Small Angle, Big difference" 8/19/2009
Helpful Review?   (1) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: Burton Cantbed (Mens)
  • Pros:  EST makes it easy to swap binding beds out to match your preference
  • Cons:  You're forced to "eyeball" your stance angle since there's no gauge to indicate what your angle is a-la the sensoryBED.

Experience:   I first tried these on my 2009 Un...Inc Bindings and loved them. I was skeptical at first because it didn't seem like the slight difference in the stance angle would make a difference... but it really does. Especially for people who like to bang their stance out wide, these really take pressure off of your knees. Well worthwhile IMHO.

"cantstand" 2/24/2011
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: Burton Cantbed (Mens)
  • Pros:  plenty of padding,
  • Cons:  sore feet,

Experience:   i hate these. i had them on my uninc EST bindings, and everytime i rode them, i got huge cramps on the outside of my foot. i think that i already lead towards the outside of my foot (supinate), and these just cause too much pressure on already supinating feet. so if you supinate, i would try these before you buy them or any canted binding for that matter. i replaced them with shredbeds, and much better. i'm not sold on EST either, i like having a nice damp baseplate in between me and the board.

"Pressure relief for you knees" 4/19/2010
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: Burton Cantbed (Mens)
  • Pros:  easy installation ,
  • Cons:  setting up angles.,

Experience:   I got these off a recommendation from a friend. I ride a wide stance and decided to give it a try. Definitely worth it. The angle it gives your knees relieves any discomfort you man have with a flat footbed. Give it a try.
