"Best Binding bar None" 10/31/2011
Helpful Review?   (1) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2012 Burton Cartel EST Snowboard Bindings Men's
  • Pros:  All around binding, Burton Backs up their products, comfort!
  • Cons:  none yet,
  • Flex:  mid

Experience:   I've been riding the '12 model since Feb '11 (about 25-30 days on snow so far) and this binding is spectacular. The highback is a big, and significantly better change to the '11's highbacks. This binding goes everywhere with me, it's flexible enough for me to throw it on my park board and lap the park all day, yet responsive enough for to throw it on my boardercross board. This binding, especially the restricted version has extremely comfortable straps, yet hold you firmly in place. Burton's buckles are second to none, smooth and easy to use. the best part about these bindings is that they work well with almost any boot, burton boots work exceptionally but third party brands enjoy a comfortable fit as well. and partnering these est bindings with an ics board, you will not go wrong!

  • Pros:  Comfort, Style, Everything
  • Cons:  Nothing ,
  • Flex:  mid

Experience:   I originally owned the burton 2009 cartels and found that they worked excellent on my shitty board. So once I could afford to upgrade my board i thought id try the new 2012 cartels and was best desicion I've made these bindings are unbelievable comfortable and responsive ! I use them with burton hail boots and and I think it's the perfect combination !

"nivel superior" 4/3/2012
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2012 Burton Cartel EST Snowboard Bindings Men's
  • Pros:  Bajo peso y durabilidad, Cup strap, multiples ajustes
  • Cons:  Precio, Colores,
  • Flex:  mid

"Awesome Bindings!" 3/4/2012
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (1) No

  • Name: 2012 Burton Cartel EST Snowboard Bindings Men's
  • Pros:  Beautiful, Adjustable, HighBacks feel so nice
  • Cons:  Expensive,
  • Flex:  mid

Experience:   My buddy has these and let me use them one day, I'm in love! Coming off the Rome s90's, these are like night and day. They are so soft and flexible, yet remain responsive and aggressive, if that makes sense. I felt comfortable doing turns going really fast, as well as doing some box slides etc.... for me they are right in the middle, not to stiff and not to soft either. If you're looking for bindings, get these and dont think about anything else. If there's one thing Burton does well, its their bindings! Get some, you wont be sorry! I rocked the pink ones :)

"Great bindings" 1/17/2012
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2012 Burton Cartel EST Snowboard Bindings Men's
  • Pros:  straps well-made, highback locks,
  • Cons:  boring color,
  • Flex:  mid

Experience:   Bought these recently and have put a couple sessions on them. I had the '09s previously, and these are leaps and bounds better. The highback now locks in and the gel padding in the heal area is nice. The straps are much more secure and better made. The toe cap has greatly improved and fits much better over my boots. These are a little on the expensive side but well worth it. The only downside is the graphics are a little bland. All black is sorta boring.

"Favorite binding of all time" 1/4/2012
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2012 Burton Cartel EST Snowboard Bindings Men's
  • Pros:  comfy straps, good highback, easy to adjust
  • Cons:  cost?,
  • Flex:  mid

Experience:   I've owned several burton bindings as well as other brands. (Rome, Flow, Ride, Salomon) I can hands down say that I like these bindings much more than any other I have used. The toe cap has been improved since the last iteration and seems to fit a wider range of boots now.

"Makes the board feel like an extension of your legs" 12/8/2011
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2012 Burton Cartel EST Snowboard Bindings Men's
  • Pros:  Unreal feel, Stability at speed, Very customizable
  • Flex:  stiff

Experience:   Just rode these on an early season day at Kirkwood, and have nothing but good things to say about them. There wasn't much snow, and what was there was pretty slick. But any time I felt the edge slipping out, a small tweak and I was dug in again. Effortless control, absolutely amazing. Can't wait to set these loose on some real snow!
