"They work for me" 9/4/2010
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: Burton Casa Womens
  • Pros:  affordable, durable,
  • Cons:  not very warm, laces loosen,
  • Fit:  mid
  • Flex:  stiff
  • Shoe Size:  8
  • Boot Size:  8

Experience:   Everything about these boots is Ok, not the most comfortable but hey what do you expect for the price. Like someone else said, it's hard to keep these boots tight they want to loosen up after a run or two which can be frustrating, but overall they get the job done. On the upside, I really put them to work last season in every condition and they held up really well, I'll use them again this year.

"Cheapest Burtons I found but Good Boots!" 4/10/2009
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: Burton Casa Womens
  • Skill:  Beginner
  • Pros:  Heel hold, Comfortable, Easy lacing, Durable, Traction, Good quality, Warm, Breathable, Waterproofing, Easy in & out, Well known brand
  • Cons:  Hard to lace
  • Fit:  average

Experience:   These are the first Boarding Boots that I have purchased. I wore them around the house to break them in before I went up to the mountain. After the first day they molded to my foot and did not feel stiff at all. I am putting some miles on them and have not noticed anything giving out or any problems along the way! They are not the best boot you can buy from Burton but I recommend them if you tight on money and want something that will hold together! Get them when they feel a little too tight because as with all boots they will stretch and mold to your foot as you tear up the mountain. Good luck and hope they work for you as they did me!!

"Decent and affordable boots" 3/9/2009
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: Burton Casa Womens
  • Skill:  Beginner
  • Pros:  Warm, Breathable, Waterproofing, Easy in & out, Well known brand
  • Cons:  Uncomfortable
  • Fit:  average

Experience:   I bought these mostly because they were really inexpensive and looked pretty good. The fit is pretty good concerning my feet, after careful deliberation in the advice and chat room (much thanks to those who helped). The only problem that has arisen is that my calves stark to hurt at the top of the boot from walking around, otherwise everything is great. Also check out dogfunk.com's advice for lacing up boots, it helps a lot, http://www.dogfunk.com/dogfunk/dc/667/Dogfunk-Snowboard-Boot-Buyers-Guide.html

"okay beginner boots" 2/9/2009
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: Burton Casa Womens
  • Skill:  Intermediate
  • Pros:  Comfortable, Durable, Warm, Breathable, Waterproofing
  • Cons:  Hard to lace, Difficult in & out
  • Fit:  average

Experience:   Good, comfy beginner boot for your basic moves but as you progress, you may find your heel lifting a bit much. True fit technology is great but laces loosen after a few runs. Great for basic riding but not good for doing hard turns and butters. Have to retighten and adjust every few hours.

"Nice Boots" 1/31/2009
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: Burton Casa Womens
  • Skill:  Intermediate
  • Pros:  Heel hold, Durable, Traction, Good quality, Warm, Waterproofing, Easy in & out, Well known brand
  • Fit:  average

Experience:   Nice easy lace liner, but regular laces on outside. These boots have lasted me a while and the Tru Fit is so nice, it adjust perfect your foot and its like memory foam. No heel lift, and fits great. I have the one's from last year and they're great. My friend has these and the only difference is the colors and stuff basically. My friend loves them too.
