Sierra Says: Ideal for the first-time buyer, the Clash has been progressing skills since the beginning of time. No not really, but close enough. With a mellow flex, friendly shape, and Cruise Control Technology, this board takes most of the frustration out of the learning process and ensures a good time while developing your skills. Sasquatch-sized boots? Check out the Bullet for a wider waist width.

Burton Says: From your first trip to your first 360 in the park, you're guaranteed good times with the Clash. Confidence-boosting Cruise Control tech combines a super soft, forgiving flex with upturned edges at the nose for effortless turning, stopping, and trick-progression. Once you've mastered the basics, the twin flex will let you do it all over

"Awesome Board" 10/20/2010
Helpful Review?   (2) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: Burton Clash
  • Skill:  Intermediate
  • Use:  Groomed,High Speeds,Park,Powder
  • Pros:  Fast, good price, all mountain

Experience:   This is a great board for an all mountain rider who wants to upgrade without breaking the bank. This board is best for high speeds, grommers, powder, and park which really makes it a great all around all mountain board. I really recomend this board to anyone who needs a new board for a good price.

"Great Boarder for Starters" 5/22/2011
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: Burton Clash
  • Skill:  Beginner
  • Use:  Groomed,Off Trail,Park,Switch Riding
  • Pros:  Easy to ride,
  • Cons:  Unstable at high speeds,

Experience:   Great board (on a budget) for who is learning or starting to progress. Once you're on a more advanced level you'll probably move to a stiffer board, unless you do park a lot. I really enjoy riding my 2010 burton clash, but I'm already looking forward to move to a stiffer board.

  • Name: Burton Clash
  • Skill:  Beginner
  • Use:  Groomed,High Speeds
  • Pros:  Stable, Forgiving Flex,
  • Cons:  You may outgrow it quickly,

Experience:   This was the first board I ever bought. It made it very easy to learn, I would recommend it for any beginner. The edge's are curved making it harder to catch an edge.

"Good board to Learn" 5/25/2010
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: Burton Clash
  • Skill:  Beginner
  • Pros:  forgiving flex, low price,

Experience:   This was my first board, and she treated me oh so well. Great board to learn the basics on, and wont break the bank either. Only drawback is after about 6 days on the mountain i started feel like id grown out of it a bit, and wanted a more park oriented board. That said, even tho i have a couple boards now, i still ride this one when im not hitting the park.

  • Pros:  lightweight, turns easy, jumps & landings ok,
  • Cons:  there's cheaper beginner boards out there,

Experience:   This was my 1st board and ended up selling after 3 years ($$$ reasons). After skipping last season ($$$ reasons), I borrowed my friends 2010 Clash and it was like reuniting with my old pal. This board is easy to learn on. Good times!
