Burton boards with the Channel System do not ship with Retro Disks or hardware. You will need to call Burton for a free set at (800) 881-3138.

Sierra Says: The ConDOM is Burton's softest-flexing park board and is ideal for jib features in the park. This camberless board also has Burton's exclusive Freebase, meaning the bottom of the board is slighty convex with the edges turning up from the center of the base. The benefit of this is a very loose and forgiving feel when sliding across non-snow obstacles. As if that wasn't enough, Burton threw in the Park Scoop and Rail Ready Edges to further prevent hang-ups and provoke more confidence.

Burton Says: With an extra flaccid flex, the added looseness and float of Zero Camber, and curved up edges all the way around, the ConDOM will have you sliding and grinding all over the mountain. And while we can't promise you won't get sick on this stick, the spooned out Scoop tips and detuned Rail Ready edges make sure you don't "catch" anything when performing dirty tricks.

  • Name: Burton ConDom
  • Skill:  Intermediate
  • Use:  Butters,Groomed,Jibs,Jumps,Low Speeds,Switch Riding
  • Pros:  Flacid, Extremely fun, Playful

Experience:   Man I love this board. I also owned a Fix last season and thought this board would be 100% comparable but I find that I enjoy this board much more. They're both zero camber with scoop nose/tail, but the smoothed edges on the ConDom make all the difference. With the edges turned up so slightly, it makes it just about impossible to catch an edge on anything. Seriously, you'll feel like a pro and confident to throw in that extra 180. If it isn't obvious, this board isn't built for speed unless you enjoy being completely out of control. I'd ride this board everyday if my companions weren't such speed demons. If you're looking for an ultra skatey, super soft park board that's all-around buttery and playful, look no further.

Helpful Review?   (2) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: Burton ConDom
  • Skill:  Intermediate
  • Use:  Boxes,Halfpipe,Jumps,Rails
  • Pros:  Zero Camber, Pop, with Pressability,
  • Cons:  none in the park,

Experience:   Zero camber is where it's at! you get the pop of a cambered board with the ease of pressing of a reverse camber board. on top of that the lack of camber means you have to work less in the powder, and focus more on finding that perfect line. wouldn't recommend it for a powder board, but if your a park rat who occasionally hits the pow this is for you.

"Solid Board" 3/24/2010
Helpful Review?   (1) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: Burton ConDom
  • Skill:  Intermediate
  • Pros:  Super Light, Flexible,
  • Cons:  A little heavy,

Experience:   I demos this board at my local hill, I was very happy with it's performance in the park. Super light, responsive, and great on jibs. However, it wasn't that great at high speeds, but still gets the job done.

In your cons section you put "a little heavy" but in the experience spot you said "Super light". I know its light and I am just being a smartass, but next time scan your review lol. Lives are at stake here!!!

"Great Board!" 3/25/2010
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: Burton ConDom
  • Skill:  Intermediate
  • Use:  Boxes,Jumps,Rails
  • Pros:  Very forgiving, very flexible, Still good in the pow, just set the est bindings

Experience:   Great forgiving board, easy to just hop on and ride, great for the park, and the channel system helps you perfect your stance so that you can rip up the park or cruise the pow. Beveled edges make sure you don't kill yourself if you miss an edge a bit, great for intermediate boarders on down to beginner. Would definetly recomend this board for anyone who wants to tackle the park and still have a bit of fun cruising.

"Sketchy board" 1/17/2010
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: Burton ConDom
  • Skill:  Intermediate
  • Use:  Groomed,Low Speeds,Park
  • Pros:  tough to catch an edge, presses easily,
  • Cons:  high speeds are uncontrollable, washes out on big booters,

Experience:   Rode this board (traded with a friend for a day) and wasn't impressed with it. On the way to the park were blacks and blues, and the board felt like it did it's own thing. I didn't enjoy carving on it much, on ice i thought i was gonna die, and the board couldn't handle much powder. Once in the park it was about avarage. It pressed easily, and nothing caught on the rails. The board had decent pop but the landings were really sketchy, certainly out of spin moves.
