  • Pros:  Squeezebox, Flying V, Channel system

Experience:   I just upgraded to this board from the 2010 custom regular camber and i have to say im glad i did. The 2010 had great pop and this had more. the 2010 had great edge hold even when i had them detuned them and i havent done that yet to this board but when i do i hope its the same. the 2010 had decent flex and this board had more with more pop and was just so playful and i love jibbing with it and didnt know what to expect with the flying v and squeezbox but it just was amazing. everything i asked for and MORE. I wont be surprised when this wins good wood and all the other awards for board because this is just the best board Ihave ever ridded. i have only had problems in slush when going off a jump and just started rotating foward all of a sudden and landed upside down and still havent figured out why but the base doesnt really let anything get to the core except jagged rocks and i am sad to say had to get it repaired but doesnt matter i cant tell the difference with it REI did a good job with the PTEX but ive run over trees rocks roofing grass dirt anything and the sharp rocks the only thing thats gotten in. BUT i did run into a tree and i got a slight crack in the base layer but nothing big and i hit it pretty hard so just a durrable board worth more than the $500 that i paid for it without a doubt. I realize why almost every burton rider switched to the custom this year because it is a BEAST! Also i HIGHLY reccomend getting EST bindings with it. this is easily the best feeling i have had with a board/binding combo youy just get unbelievable feel, response and control

  • Skill:  Advanced

  • Pros:  Super Fast, Flexible, Great Edge Hold
  • Cons:  None,

Experience:   My friend let me ride this and it was the best thing I've ever strapped to my feet! The speed I could get on this board was amazing and it never felt squirrely. I took it off the trails and floated through powder with ease. It had a surprising amount of flex for how stable it felt and I could butter pretty well while going down the slopes. I would buy it if it wasn't so expensive but it does make me want to look into buying a Burton next season for sure! Bottom line: If you want a great all mountain board that can handle anything you come across, this board is for you.
