Nothing’s better than twins who are up for anything. It’s a tall order to improve on snowboarding’s yardstick, but this evolution of the Custom does just that by twinning out the shape of our most iconic performer. Duplicating the incredible versatility of the Custom family, this true twin upgrades its ride with Off-Axis technology for anatomically correct board control, as well as Carbon Highlights to shave weight and enhance feel. Flying V™ combines the best of rocker and camber, while a slightly softer flex adds to the overall fun.

"Awesome board" 1/5/2013

  • Pros:  Great pop, Handles well, Well built
  • Cons:  Bad at high speeds, Price,

Experience:   I demoed this board at Steamboat and absolutely loved it. It could carve like no other at low to mid speeds. At high speeds it did tend to slip out. Other than high speed it outperformed my expectations on almost every single thing I threw at it. Overall this is one of the best boards I have ridden.

"Best all around board!" 12/29/2012
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Pros:  Stability, Carving, Easy

Experience:   This board does it all. I first tried it out at Whistler via renting and loved it so much that I bought it the week after. I personally love to carve with short boards (151) on groomed/powder and this board fits me perfectly. I feel totally in control all the time with it and it's as smooth as it gets. I'm not a speed freak so I can't comment in that area but for an intermediate rider, this is as good as it gets!

"This board does it all!!!" 12/1/2012
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: Burton Custom Flying V Twin Snowboard Early Release
  • Skill:  Intermediate
  • Pros:  Do it all board, Butter control,
  • Cons:  Will wash out at high speed,

Experience:   This board is super fun! If you only have one board I recommend this one. It handles the groomers very well and is predictable. It will wash out if you lay down a fast carve but it's easy to judge when it's about to happen and back off. Now on to the fun! This thing manuals, butters and spins like no other. The board is durable and doesn't get jacked from rails and boxes. Get this board and you won't be disappointed.
