"Perfect Jack of All Trades" 12/13/2010
Helpful Review?   (1) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: Burton Custom ICS
  • Skill:  Advanced
  • Pros:  5/10 Flex, Pop, Lightweight
  • Cons:  none,

Experience:   Got this board a couple months ago and have been able to go 4 times with it so far(Ohio boarding sucks), and it has been amazing in all aspects no matter where I took it. The medium flex makes it good on every area of boarding. It'll perform on the trails to the park and everything in between. Great buy, would recommend to anyone looking for a great all around snowboard.

"Perfect Allrounder" 11/24/2010
Helpful Review?   (1) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: Burton Custom ICS
  • Skill:  Intermediate
  • Pros:  light weight, fast turns, perfect for every terrain

Experience:   I rode this board the whole past year, bought it directly before the season and i was glad that i purchased this perfect allrounder, easy to ride on high speeds, bendable for tricks and usage in the park and steady during powder rides. If u can purchase the matching burton bindings with it, easier to use with the remarkable new system.

"Snow Ninja" 11/2/2010
Helpful Review?   (1) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: Burton Custom ICS
  • Skill:  Advanced
  • Pros:  Cuts and turns on a dime, Speed, speed, and more speed, It's pretty like a roll of life savers
  • Cons:  None,

Experience:   This board does everything you asks of it,short of doing your homework. Package this with the best bindings and boots you can afford and let it rip. Great in pow, groomers, halfpipe, and okay in the park. It cuts, it turns, it grips; it rips. Make sure you are an intermediate to Advance rider otherwise you'll embarrass yourself and/or do a disservice to this board. My review means nothing. If you are looking at this, you want it. So buy it already.

"Rare beauty - and best all-around" 10/28/2010
Helpful Review?   (1) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: Burton Custom ICS
  • Skill:  Beginner
  • Pros:  light and durable, pops nicely, very forgiving
  • Cons:  rust stains on steel edges,

Experience:   This board does pretty much anything, I kicked in park and cruised grooms, while my friend scored the Alps off-trail. Just slow down, and it lets you do second-thought turns when others did faceplant already. Great for beginners, it advances with you, doing more as you learn. Too bad Burton tries to replace it with a V-rocker, which is easier but doesn't pop much. ...NB: wipe the edges clean - they tend to get rust stains. Well, nothing's perfect!

Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: Burton Custom ICS
  • Skill:  Intermediate
  • Pros:  Pretty light, Sick design, Quick adjustments
  • Cons:  nada,

Experience:   If you want one board for EVERYTHING, this is it. I've ridden a few different customs over the past few years, and I've loved everything about them. I ride everything from backcountry to park to anywhere on the resorts and it's been flawless. BUY IT

"solid, as always" 12/11/2010
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: Burton Custom ICS
  • Skill:  Intermediate
  • Pros:  Solid feel, hard to catch an edge,
  • Cons:  I wanted a little more oomph,

Experience:   I rode this last year and really liked it. It moved nicely and it was pretty responsive. I tooled around with it in the park and rails and stuff and felt solid. Personally I'm more focused on flying down the mountain. There were some points where I felt I couldnt really get it to go in the next gear. I picked up a Custom X, I think that will be quicker, think porsche to ferrari.

"Kills it all" 11/24/2010
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: Burton Custom ICS
  • Skill:  Intermediate
  • Pros:  Fast!, Holds an edge on everything, Great feeling
  • Cons:  Little stiff,

Experience:   I bought this board to be my all mountain board. Taken it out a few times so far and loving it! Not going to hit the park with it so no comment on that aspect. This thing kills the kickers and asks for more. Can't wait for a pow-day and see how this thing shines.

"Great All Mountain board" 11/24/2010
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: Burton Custom ICS
  • Skill:  Intermediate
  • Pros:  EST,
  • Cons:  Expensive,

Experience:   Although you could probably find a better board for cheaper, this is a pretty sick board. I loved it because it has some raw power which makes going fast, comfortable. I had a bit of trouble in the park with this because I like more flexible boards, but that could have just been my own ineptitude. All around good board for the mountain.

"Lovin' this Board!" 11/23/2010
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: Burton Custom ICS
  • Skill:  Advanced
  • Pros:  Really Quick, very responsive,

Experience:   I bought this board about a month ago and could not wait for snow to hit the ground. I finally was able to get up to Killington this past weekend and took it for a spin. This board is very quick. Since there was only 14 runs open, there was a bunch of flats. At no point was I thinking that I was going to have to unstrap and kick out where with my old board it would have been guaranteed. Snow conditions was packed powder and snow blowing. This board handled it all well. If anything you get so comfortable on the board, you get over confident. Beware! Overall, next to my MacBook, this was the best purchase I made this year. I hope it sees a lot of action this season
