"Bindings!" 2/8/2012
Helpful Review?   (1) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: Burton Custom Snowboard Bindings Men's
  • Pros:  stiff , easy straps, many custom positions
  • Cons:  ratchets may give out early,
  • Flex:  mid

Experience:   These bindings are great especially for the price, being a fairly new rider I felt really confident in these. I could quickly and easily turn with lots of power. Also with the over the toe option you get even better handling and response. There was no problems with the straps staying tight and they are extremely easy to get strapped and unstrapped before and after the lift. The flex is very forgiving for a rider like me (all-mountain) and I love to just play around on the snow while going down doing small tricks and stuff and this works extremely well.

"Quick and easy " 1/19/2012
Helpful Review?   (1) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: Burton Custom Snowboard Bindings Men's
  • Pros:  Responsive , Quick and easy to adjust,
  • Cons:  no base cover plate,
  • Flex:  mid

Experience:   These bindings are very responsive on my Burton custom. I felt really confident in these. I could quickly and easily turn with lots of power. Also with the over the toe option you get even better handling and response. I had no problems with the straps slipping out, and they always stayed tight. The straps also unstrap easily to get you on the lift faster. I could reach down and unstrap them while riding through the lift line. And like most ratchet they snug down quickly and easily If you have lots of friends who are asking try out your board all the time, you can quickly and easily adjust the straps length by hand to fit there boots. The High backs are easy to set up too. They're only two screws to adjust the angle on these and they are easily accessible, and never have I had the highback latch slip out. Only thing I wish they had a cover plate to put over the binding screws. Without it snow builds up and sometimes it can be hard to scrape out, making it hard to get your boot seated and secure in the binding.

"Great Bindings" 9/29/2011
Helpful Review?   (1) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: Burton Custom Snowboard Bindings Men's
  • Pros:  Supportive , Stiff and secure, Thick Straps
  • Cons:  toe strap could fit a lil better,
  • Flex:  stiff

Experience:   I found these bindings are perfect for my all mountain style, I find them very tough and supportive, for any snowboarder that can go anywhere and doesn't want to spend an arm and a leg for the top class range, you definitely get your moneys worth, with bindings that are better than its price range

"Not to rain on everyone's parade but....." 7/7/2011
Helpful Review?   (1) Yes    (1) No

  • Name: Burton Custom Snowboard Bindings Men's
  • Pros:  Steezy, Adjustable,
  • Cons:  No quality,
  • Flex:  soft

Experience:   Burton really failed on this binding. The quality just isn't there. After 4 days the toe strap fell off and i had to buy new hardware for it. Then, my highback snapped and I don't have the money to buy all new bindings so I settled on sending the highback back to Burton. I got my replacement highback about 3 weeks later. The toe straps now are ripped to shreds and I dont even have any toe overhang.

  • Name: Burton Custom Snowboard Bindings Men's
  • Pros:  stiff, light, toe cups
  • Cons:  not too heavy,
  • Flex:  stiff

Experience:   i had these bindings for a few years. They are stiff and give you lost of control. they have toe cups which help keep your boots against the back of the binding. these are some of the best bindings for the pricse

"Burton Custom Bindings" 1/17/2011
Helpful Review?   (1) Yes    (1) No

  • Name: Burton Custom Snowboard Bindings Men's
  • Pros:  Customizable, Forgiving,
  • Cons:  Low Quality,

Experience:   These bindings have many options to fit your boot better. Customizing the bindings takes at most 10 minutes to be a great fit. After about 15 uses, the rachets on the toe straps stopped clicking back after you tightened. This has only been a minor inconvenience so far, but it could cause problems. I've used the bindings over the entire mountain, and they've done great from icy park days to deep powder days. Overall they are great bindings, just seemingly low quality

"Burton Custom Bindings" 12/30/2010
Helpful Review?   (1) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: Burton Custom Snowboard Bindings Men's
  • Pros:  Forgiving flex, Responsive, Comfortable
  • Flex:  soft

Experience:   I just recently used these bindings in St. Louis (really small resort) and they handled amazingly. I normally have a hard time with toe turns due to a lack of response from my old bindings (Lamar). With these Burton Customs, not only was I able to nail my toe turns, I was also riding very comfortably. The flex is very forgiving for a rider like me (all-mountain) and I love to just play around on the snow while going down doing small tricks and stuff and this works extremely well.

"Burton Customs" 12/6/2010
Helpful Review?   (1) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: Burton Custom Snowboard Bindings Men's
  • Pros:  Good Price, Looks Steezy, Great Brand Name
  • Cons:  A bit flexy,
  • Flex:  soft

Experience:   These are for sure one of the best quality vs price options for burton bindings. I've tried a lot of bindings and this model is pretty nice. I installed these customs on a DC shoes PJB 155 and the response is very good for freestyle and freeride. Great for anyone seeking a more relaxed binding.

"Burton Customs doin work" 2/29/2012
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: Burton Custom Snowboard Bindings Men's
  • Pros:  easy to change strap angles, responsive, lightweight
  • Cons:  strap teeth are soft,
  • Flex:  mid

Experience:   These bindings worked great until about the 5th day of riding. I noticed both of the toe straps had a slightly chipped edge on the teeth from tightnening a little too hard apparently. This has never happened with my other bindings, but isnt really a huge deal in the first place. Other than that, great set.
