Sierra Says: The Escapade EST is a technologically advanced, aggressive binding with cutting-edge designs in board-feel and precision. It's list of features is extensive and includes the incredibly comfy Cored Ultrastrap Air ankle strap, Real Mesh Hi-Back, and Removable SuperBED Cushioning System. Overall, this binding best compliments the advanced freerider and pairs up well with Burton boards such as the Feelgood ES and Women's Supermodel.

Burton Says: Featuring more cushioning, board feel, and anatomical correctness than any women's binding before, the Escapade EST redefines what it means to rule the entire mountain. At its heart is the increased drive and comfort of our NEW SuperBED, which softens landings while keeping you more in touch with your terrain. Team riders Hannah, Victoria, Kelly, Molly, and Ellery all swear by the power of its potion. Take a swig and see what's possible.

"control" 12/29/2009
Helpful Review?   (1) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: Burton Escapade EST Womens
  • Pros:  works very well with ICS board, A LOT of control,
  • Cons:  cosmetic issues,
  • Flex:  mid

Experience:   i love these bindings sooo much! they give me ultamate control with my board! i dont think i could imagine having more control! and they work sooo perfect with my feelgood ICS! as a pair, i couldnt really imagine having a more smooth setup! the only issues i have with this binding, is after about four times of going, the side of the bindings, where there are artistic details in a type of soft plastic, it is falling off because it seems to have been glued on, and also the shiny plastic on the heel side is all noticebly scratched up from strapping in

"worth every penny!" 11/15/2010
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: Burton Escapade EST Womens
  • Pros:  responsive, comfortable,
  • Cons:  pricey, only for ICS boards,
  • Flex:  stiff

Experience:   these are the most expensive pair of bindings out of the 3 i own but i did not regret getting it! these escapades are so comfortable, responsive, and lightweight! i've had burton bindings previously and the toe strap issue did happen to me. i've taken these to the mountains twice and my straps werent ruined at all. all you have to do is strap the toe strap above the toes further away from the edge of the board. it really sucks that i cant put it on non-ICS boards but these bindings are worth every penny!

"Toe Strap Issues" 8/15/2010
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: Burton Escapade EST Womens
  • Pros:  Solid Binding, TrueFit allows perfect fit with Supreme Boots, Straps have air pockets that r comfy!
  • Cons:  Toe Strap keeps coming off, Buckles can lock if straps are too tight,
  • Flex:  stiff

Experience:   These bindings are solid and can withstand a good amount of pressure when I'm going down the slope carving at high speeds. The TrueFit feature allows a good fit between the binding and Burton boots for the best control and response. I just wish the toe straps could have been better developed. I've adjusted them in so many ways, but they still slip down even after strapping them down very tightly. I bought the old 2008 toe straps to replace them.

"Escapade Heaven" 4/21/2010
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: Burton Escapade EST Womens
  • Pros:  Responsive, ICS/EST, Great Fit
  • Cons:  Toe Cap,
  • Flex:  stiff

Experience:   Escapades are my favourite binding due to the responsiveness when combined with an all Burton true Fit set up. To ride with a stiff board, stiff boots and the very responsive Escapade bindings makes freeriding that much better. Can't think of a better binding.
