Experience:   My wife just used these bindings in Tahoe where the temp was 0 degrees and she had no problems with the buckles freezing. She loves these bindings & would recommend them to anyone.

  • Name: Burton Escapade Snowboard Bindings
  • Pros:  Easy to Use,
  • Cons:  Gets locked up,
  • Flex:  mid

Experience:   I finally got to try out this binding. They held up & I love them with the exception of one thing. The back of it gets locked up so you have to use a bit of force to push it down.

"Easy on and off" 2/23/2011
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: Burton Escapade Snowboard Bindings
  • Pros:  Easy to take off, Strap is comfortable, Style
  • Cons:  White color gets dirty,
  • Flex:  mid

Experience:   I love these bindings. The toe strap is convertible which gives you some flexibility with how you want to wear it. I have had other bindings that were very difficult to undo...these unstrap easily. The padding on the upper strap makes these very comfortable. Also, there are a lot of ways to adjust these to make they work to fit with most any boots.

"Good, even for a guy" 1/4/2011
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (1) No

  • Name: Burton Escapade Snowboard Bindings
  • Pros:  Nice medium stiff binding, Quality, Good for slim men's boots too.
  • Cons:  Toe/cap straps aren't the best,
  • Flex:  mid

Experience:   I'm a guy, but I got these in size Large coz I needed something high performing but at a cheap price. They're got a response rating of 7, but it feels kinda like a 6 in a men's binding. I'm only 140 lb, 65kg, so that's all the response I need for the whole mountain. The size large is a good fit for my size 9US low profile 32 Team 1 boots. If my boots were any wider, they wouldn't quite fit in the heel cup. So I'd only recommend these for guys if you have a slim profile boot like some of the 32s. Overall they're been sturdy quality, except for one tow strap snapping in the cold (-20C), but that's to be expected. I don't like the design of the cap/toe straps. Burton should go back to the tow straps they used from 2005-2008, they hold on a lot better. There cap/toe hybrid straps seems to come loose and slip down or up. Still better than a plain old toe strap, but not as good as the cap strap.

Experience:   Excellent bindings. Bought these and used these during my first season. Don't plan on going with any other type of binding for following seasons! Seem very durable and sturdy. Hope to get many more seasons of use!
