Sierra Says: As Burton's most aggressive women's binding, the Escapade is designed to fit snug and respond quickly. This binding is stiff in flex and high in performance, and will complement any advanced freeride board. We recommend the Escapade for the advanced female rider that likes making quick turns and pushing her limits in the backcountry.

Burton Says: Wrap your boots in heaven with the forget-it's-there fit of the legendary Escapade. In pursuit of our most anatomically precise and comfortable creation yet, we've upgraded the entire kit. Air-infused straps are now even slimmer, lighter, and more conformable to your boots every curve. Straight-lining moguls... More ?

"Great Bindings! " 2/10/2010
Helpful Review?   (5) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: Burton Escapade Snowboard Bindings Women's
  • Pros:  Extremely good fit, Really responsive to movements, Engineered well
  • Flex:  mid

Experience:   I got a complete new snowboard setup after finally learning how to carve and decided to dish out money for the Escapades. Escapades are considered Advanced/Expert bindings and they are extremely great! For the progressing snowboarder that wants to try and hit the park or do tricks, the bindings really do the trick on making you flow with your board. The toe straps make the flex great and there's a really great pad over the strap that fits to your boot well. However, I'm a 7.5 Burton Boot and I bought a size L bindings. L is for sizes 8+ but I really feel that a 7 could fit these bindings fine. In fact, I can't imagine having medium bindings. My bindings before were crap so upgrade to these Burtons was the best choice I got!!

"great responsive bindings" 3/30/2010
Helpful Review?   (3) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: Burton Escapade Snowboard Bindings Women's
  • Pros:  super responsive, easy in/out, padding/cushions
  • Cons:  run small,

Experience:   i've been using a cheapy binding from a snowboard package i got 6 years ago and i never realized how big a difference bindings could make. i strapped into these (really smooth ratchets) and started carving - LIKE A DREAM. the board was so responsive and i felt i had more control at higher speeds. the only thing i'd recommend about burton bindings is that you size up. i got a size large for my size 6.5-7 feet/boot and it fits perfectly. i bought a size medium burton citizen before to try it out but it was too narrow/small for my boot even though the size chart said it would've fit perfectly for a size 7 boot (i have a burton size 7 boot btw). so yeah, dunno what's up with the funky sizing charts but THESE BINDINGS ARE AWESOME!

"My girl loves em!" 7/1/2010
Helpful Review?   (2) Yes    (1) No

  • Name: Burton Escapade Snowboard Bindings Women's
  • Pros:  aggressive, light, quality
  • Flex:  mid

Experience:   My girl was originally looking for Union Contacts but she just couldn't find the right size for her. She could fit into men's M/L fine but the strap was too long for her and it didn't look too secure. She didn't want the Triology so we went ahead and bought the Escapades and she loves them. They fit her boots perfectly and she could ride all day without any discomfort.

"Burton Escapades - sz small" 11/2/2010
Helpful Review?   (1) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: Burton Escapade Snowboard Bindings Women's
  • Pros:  Super light, Lots of cushion, Great adjustability
  • Cons:  They sell out too quick :),
  • Flex:  mid

Experience:   Love these bindings! With a size 6, the small bindings are pretty much at their shoe fitting limit - but a snug and perfect fit really meant great control on the mountains. They're light, they're soft, and really forgiving - makes long days on the mountain a breeze. You'll get excellent control and it's money well spent on these bindings. They're look pretty much like the Burton CO2 bindings, but for women. The ICS channel technology with these bindings makes for very easy and quick adjustability as well!

"Escape with Escapade" 4/18/2010
Helpful Review?   (1) Yes    (1) No

  • Name: Burton Escapade Snowboard Bindings Women's
  • Pros:  Strong Bindings , Good for all mountain, Responsive
  • Cons:  Mountain riding only,
  • Flex:  stiff

Experience:   I bought these for a friend. She was struggling a bit at the start but in the end when she became better she loved the bindings. The bindings aren't as forgiving for a beginner ride but once you get used to these they simply rock. She was shredding it down the slope in no time. I took her to the park and it seemed a tad difficult. Don't know if it was her or the bindings but it looked like the bindings work well in a park. Still, these bindings are wicked on the mountain for all terrain riding. Highly recommended

"Smooth and Comfy" 1/12/2010
Helpful Review?   (1) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: Burton Escapade Snowboard Bindings Women's
  • Pros:  Smooth ratching system,
  • Cons:  Narrower fit,

Experience:   I wear 8.5 wide Thirty-Two boots and the medium Escapades were too narrow and overall small. I returned them and ordered larges, which are a perfect fit. I haven't ridden with them yet, so I can't comment on performance. But the ratcheting system is super smooth and the straps are super comfy. They are also very easy to adjust to your specifications. Well made bindings!

  • Cons:  perfer my rome s90,

Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: Burton Escapade Snowboard Bindings Women's
  • Pros:  cute, super responsive,
  • Flex:  mid

Experience:   I have 2 pairs of these now & i just love 'em! I wear medium bindings with size 7 burton boots and they fit like a glove. a little stiff when brand new but once broken in they're super responsive, i've riddent them on a couple of different boards and i feel like i'm really connected to the board. highly recommended, i'm gonna ride these til they fall apart then probably buy another pair!
