"Good For Pocket" 3/2/2011
Helpful Review?   (1) Yes    (2) No

  • Name: Burton FBI6 Snowboard Tool
  • Pros:  Small, Handy,
  • Cons:  Rusting a little bit,

Experience:   This is in my pocket every day I ride. I have swapped bindings on a gondola ride. I tighten straps in heavy snow. I find this to be as good as anything out there.

"Best pocket tool" 11/18/2010
Helpful Review?   (1) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: Burton FBI6 Snowboard Tool
  • Pros:  Durable, Small, Convenient

Experience:   This is the best tool I've found so far. It's really convenient that each bit is attached on the inside and folds out for use then it closes to form a grip. Way better than my past tools where you have to change out the bit and worry about dropping the tip in the snow. It's worth the money and I've now bought two more for other friends.

"Good for its size" 1/17/2012
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: Burton FBI6 Snowboard Tool
  • Pros:  Compact, Many tools,
  • Cons:  Difficult to use,

Experience:   The tool is nice that it comes with 2 different size Phillips heads, one flat head, a hexagon shaped head, a wrench type device that can be used as a bottle opener. For its size its great but its when trying to tighten bindings in the cold the trouble comes. The rectangular shape does not fit in your hand very well and becomes very uncomfortable. Also the heads don't stay straight all the time while using them and aren't very stable.

"Great Tool!" 12/1/2011
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: Burton FBI6 Snowboard Tool
  • Pros:  Fits great in pocket, Very slim, Good options
  • Cons:  sometimes hard to keep in place when screwing.,

Experience:   This is the best tool I have ever owned. Its slim size makes it great for keeping with you when going out. it also fits great in any pocket and i particularly like it in my snow pants. It also has multiple screwing options. the flatter Phillips is great when screwing in bindings and the more pointy option is perfect for the smaller sized screws. The only con is that when screwing in something tight it can pop out of position(but this rarely happens). This tool has saved me on many occasions and is perfect for any rider!

"As important as goggles!" 10/21/2011
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: Burton FBI6 Snowboard Tool
  • Pros:  Small, Comfortable in your pocket,
  • Cons:  You might have to replace it every few years,

Experience:   The FBI tool might be the best companion on the mountain. I have used it to adjust bindings and skis, pry crap off my helmet, and to build shelter in a storm! Haha, well it's not macguyver but it will save some frustration. Well worth the price. Buy two!

"Changing my mind" 9/16/2011
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: Burton FBI6 Snowboard Tool
  • Pros:  Small, omni-tool,
  • Cons:  Cheap material, hard to turn,

Experience:   After spending a full winter with it, I have to rereview this. It's made of cheap material. The screws strip and it's hard to turn in cold weather. Find something else.

"Perfect size" 9/16/2011
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: Burton FBI6 Snowboard Tool
  • Pros:  Slim, variety of tools,

Experience:   Last time I rode at Vail my binding came loose, I didn't have a tool on me and at the time I was riding Flow's which have a smaller screwdriver head, so the screwdrivers on the work benches wouldn't fit. I went into the ski patrol shop to see if I could borrow a smaller screwdriver, the guy gave me this. It had both large and small screwdrivers which worked perfectly for me. I noticed the tool was very slim so it won't take up much room in your pocket. Seemed sturdy, and got the job done. Just what I needed! I am buying this tool for this year.

"Better than the Burton Zip Tool" 2/23/2011
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: Burton FBI6 Snowboard Tool
  • Pros:  Compact/easily fits in your pocket, Jackknife style bits,
  • Cons:  Body is too wide to access some binding screws,

Experience:   This is fine for making an adjustment to get you down the slope, but you'd better find yourself a real screwdriver at the lodge to make the final adjustment. It is what it is, not great, but not bad either. Definately better than the Zip Tool.
