Burton Fix

  Read 35 Reviews   |  AVG 4.3

This item is currently out of stock. (0)

Burton boards with the Channel System do not ship with Retro Disks or hardware. You will need to call Burton for a free set at (800) 881-3138.

Sierra Says: Introduced last year, we sold the first run of the Fix before the season even really kicked off. And that was before the party rocker was introduced. The 2010 model still has the twin shape, soft flex, but now features Burton's most jib friendly rocker. Throw Rail Ready Edges and the Park Scoop into the mix and you get one of the most progressive park boards of the year. We recommend the Fix for the guy that spends most of the time taking it to the streets or park and needs a reliable board when doing so.

Burton Says: Highly addictive, the "Fix" becomes the life of the party with our latest rocker design. Concentrating control between your feet while lifting the tip and tail, Party Rocker creates a highly forgiving board that's super easy to press and butter. Mellow flexing and armed with the catch-free combo of Scoop tips and Rail Ready edges- everything about this board has been built to help you slaughter the park without getting served.

"The Fix is It" 12/1/2009
Helpful Review?   (3) Yes    (1) No

  • Name: Burton Fix
  • Skill:  Intermediate
  • Use:  Boxes
  • Pros:  flexible, sick for butters, lite weight
  • Cons:  top sheet cracks, bad on ice, graphics are plain

Experience:   This board butters like crazy, if youre looking for a rail, box, and butter board, this is it. It's not too great for hitting 50 footers or big drops because the flex makes it easily slip out. Definitely got it for 50% off so thats good. Got the uninc bindings with hail boots, which ended in 2009. The top sheet cracks like nothing else though. Sooo annoying. Watch out for kids with cameras, you'll probably steal their video part when you ride by. Be polite!

"not a bad ride" 8/16/2010
Helpful Review?   (1) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: Burton Fix
  • Skill:  Intermediate
  • Use:  Butters,Groomed,Jibs,Switch Riding,Ungroomed
  • Pros:  lightweight, buttery,

Experience:   this board is light, agile, buttery. it has decent pop and low swing weight for easy spins. paired this with the burton cartel est. super easy to setup. only reason i gave this 3 stars is that its made for smaller guys. bigger and heavier guys will find this board a little noodle-ish. other than that, this is a great board for beginners and those that are about to rock the park.

"got my fix" 6/13/2010
Helpful Review?   (1) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: Burton Fix
  • Skill:  Intermediate
  • Use:  Jumps,Rails
  • Pros:  good flex, park scoop, thick edge

Experience:   when you look at the edges on this board straight away you notice how thick they are. this is primo gives it heaps of durability. overall an awesome performing park board. id definitely recommend this to any one even slightly interested in freestyle. it holds up fine in other conditions. a bit wobbly at high speeds but as is any park board. havent tried in powder yet but im assuming the p-rocker will help it float better than reg camber.

"Skateboard on the snow" 6/3/2010
Helpful Review?   (1) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: Burton Fix
  • Skill:  Intermediate
  • Use:  Boxes,Jumps,Rails
  • Pros:  Soft, flat base, buttery!
  • Cons:  none,

Experience:   I bought this snowboard from Sierra for my friend and it is one of the best things I ever tried. The graphics is awesome-looking and it rides just fun. Of course, you can't bomb the hill with it, but it's perfect for buttering, spins and jibbing. Detuned edges really make difference. And the fact, that they come detuned from factory excludes any doubt that it's done right. The size is 158, but it feels a bit longer, so better downsize a bit. Highly recommend it.

"Gotta Get My Fix!" 4/7/2010
Helpful Review?   (1) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: Burton Fix
  • Skill:  Intermediate
  • Use:  Boxes,Jumps,Rails
  • Pros:  Soft Flex for Pressing, Soft Torsional Flex, Reverse Camber + Park Scoops = Buttering Frenzy
  • Cons:  Not as poppy as last season's model,

Experience:   This board is highly addictive on all terrain. The soft flex makes it easy to press. Add the park scoops, and this board is super easy to do butters. No need to worry about catching an edge when landing a trick. This board just wants to have fun. My only gripe was that it's not as poppy as the 2009 model, caused from going to 2009's all-out flat camber to 2010's flat camber + party rocker on the nose/tail. Still a treat to ride, and definitely wouldn't mind adding this to my quiver. If only Sierra had some more in stock.

"Great under the radar board" 1/15/2010
Helpful Review?   (1) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: Burton Fix
  • Skill:  Intermediate
  • Use:  Groomed,High Speeds,Low Speeds,Off Trail,Park,Powder,Switch Riding,Ungroomed
  • Pros:  super fast and quick edge to edge, light set up, FUN FUN FUN great jumper good feel and feedback, I trust it aneywhere
  • Cons:  edge hold on ice is ok , I shatterd the glass on the tip of the 09,

Experience:   first off I have the 09 model but I here that 2010 is pretty much the same. When I orderd this board I was alittle skeptable about some of the things said like it is a park onley board well let me tell you that that is totaley not trew I have ridden it in every condition and it handels aney thing you throw at it verry well, on groumers it is super play full and funn to dick aroud on but when some one in your crew passes you or you decide to fly you can just jet down the mountain and feel like you have super good control and I feel that the board is faster than most and you can accelerate really quickley. in the powder it floats verry well even with a centerd stance, jumping it was effertless and to press and get it to pop was just as easy. on ice it gets a little slipprey but you half to rember that the egdes are scouped up alittle so if you just leen a little harder it will bight and carrey you throu. in the trees or woods it felt agile and I accedentley hit some surprize rocks and it handeld them verry well and no deep scratches at all the onley thing that kindove scaird me is I had a pretty bad crash on it and the top sheet on the nose like shatterd but everyone says it is fine and does not effect the peformance at all and it looks super sweet to you can see the cracks in my pics. but overall I am super satisfied with the board I have the 162 and i am 6'2 220 and it works great. I will deffintley be picking up a new one this year

"fix" 9/23/2010
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: Burton Fix
  • Skill:  Intermediate
  • Use:  Butters,Jibs
  • Pros:  good pop, super easy to butter, fun jib stick
  • Cons:  to soft for the heavier rider,

Experience:   took the fix for a demo last season, really liked how it worked in the snow. its super buttery and poppy , and if you want it to it can stand up on edge and put a decent carve in. was fun on the smaller jumps (upto 30 foot), quite stable at high speeds and on landing. Im a heavier rider (200lbs) it was just abit soft for me so when pressing felt like it was pretty unstable, like it was folding up under me. if your light this board would be awesome

"Fantastic Board" 9/23/2010
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: Burton Fix
  • Skill:  Intermediate
  • Pros:  Can't catch edge,
  • Cons:  it's thin,

Experience:   I love my board, but be careful, if you have big feet like me, the board is thin. So duck out your feet or get it bigger. I just upgraded my bindings and boots to fit it this season.

"fix the mountain" 8/21/2010
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: Burton Fix
  • Skill:  Intermediate
  • Use:  Butters,Groomed,Jibs,Off Trail,Switch Riding,Ungroomed
  • Pros:  true twin, made for butters,

Experience:   I’ve ridden the Fix in both a 155 and 158. The 58 was a demo model, and the 55 was a display model and I’m not sure if demo/display plays into it, but the 58 was like a riding a 2×4 compared to the 55. It almost felt like an entirely different board. The board in general is totally awesome. Perfect for getting buttery. Our Burton rep said that new Blender is supposed to be like the Fix. Funny thing, I RAVED about the Blender before I found out it was the Women’s fix. I just wish the Blender had ICS. Even though I have a size 10 boot, I’m not a fan of the mid-wide. It makes edge to edge carving not as quick as I would like.
