"Alright....." 1/2/2012
Helpful Review?   (1) Yes    (4) No

  • Name: Burton Freestyle Jr Bindings
  • Pros:  Light., Cheap.,
  • Cons:  Broke so many straps., Broken heel cup.,
  • Flex:  mid

Experience:   Had these bindings when i was a bit younger and had a serious love hate relationship with this binding. I loved these bindings but after a year or so they just started to brake down. I probably spent $40 just on replacement straps. They were nice and light and being the little park bandit i was back when I was ten i really did enjoy them. 3/5

"Nice kids bindings - good adjustability" 2/6/2011
Helpful Review?   (1) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: Burton Freestyle Jr Bindings
  • Pros:  Very adjustable, Size range from 2 - 6 (kids), Durable
  • Cons:  A little tough to strap in,
  • Flex:  soft

Experience:   Kids boots are so big and bulky that strapping in was a bit difficult. My 7 year old son wears a size 4 Burton Ion Grom boot and they are pretty snug in this binding - the boots are almost too fat to get the straps across. Luckily they're fairly adjustable so with a few changes, they're workable. They seem very durable!

"beginner binding" 12/23/2011
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (1) No

  • Name: Burton Freestyle Jr Bindings
  • Pros:  very flexiable,
  • Cons:  not very strong plastic,

Experience:   I have these bindings in a later model very flexable and easily adjustable but recwntly some fell on my binding off the ski lift and cracked the back of it pretty easily. As long as you or no one else is falling on the binding it will be one of the best bindings you can buy starting out
