"Premium performance at PBR prices. With two decades of destruction to its credit, the Freestyle™ proves that price means nothing when it comes to perfection. Picking up where the competition’s so-called “premium” bindings bite the dust, its soft, forgiving flex is a dream in the park and makes stomping new tricks a cinch. Full adjustability makes for a perfect fit, while wall-to-wall EVA padding and the Adaptastrap™ combine for comfort that just won’t quit. "

  • Name: Burton Freestyle Snowboard Bindings Men's
  • Pros:  cheap, best rachet in pricerange , adjustable
  • Flex:  mid

Experience:   l go these as my first binding. compared to other intro bindings l tried on, the rachet didnt get jammed which i would image would be very annoying. got these under 100$ with tax which is pretty good considering others can get up to 200+. the binding also allows you to adjust the binding to your personal specification. took me over 2hrs to do it, but l guess its for the best

Helpful Review?   (2) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: Burton Freestyle Snowboard Bindings Men's
  • Pros:  Cheap, Great for beginners ,

Experience:   These are the first bindings I ever bought. For the money, they get you a great entry level binding that does the job. What you hear about them not holding up in pow or doing crazy park stuff may be true, but these bindings get you by, just maybe not as good as other ones do. Overall, great binding at a great price.

Id like to add that they can be customized to what you like this is a good feature for a cheaper binding. Also they've seen alot of slope time and are still holding up great. Just a little bit of scratches no ripped foam at all.

  • Name: Burton Freestyle Snowboard Bindings Men's
  • Pros:  none,
  • Cons:  stiff, uncomfortable,
  • Flex:  mid

Experience:   in my experience with these bindings, they are terrible for experienced riders. I have union force mc bindings and they are the best pair ive ever owned and these freestyles dont even compare to them. two winters ago when i had these bindings, my legs would feel stiff, and i thought it were my boots, but nope. dont expect to go off kickers without irritation.

"A binding full of fun" 2/26/2011

  • Name: Burton Freestyle Snowboard Bindings Men's
  • Pros:  Soft, Forgiving, Cheap
  • Cons:  A bit heavy,
  • Flex:  soft

Experience:   The Burton freestyle binding overall is very good. The binding is soft and forgiving, which is good for the freestyle rider, but is also good all over the binding. It performed well on medium sized jump/kickers. The binding also holds a boot very well, but I suggest to get the same brand boot as the binding, this is because the boot will fit better in the binding. And for the price YOU CANNOT go wrong.

  • Name: Burton Freestyle Snowboard Bindings Men's
  • Pros:  Great flex, Easy to work with,
  • Cons:  Feels a little cheap,
  • Flex:  soft

Experience:   I have these bindings. They're very forgiving and real easy to slip in and out of. But they seem a little cheap when I tighten them up.

  • Name: Burton Freestyle Snowboard Bindings Men's
  • Pros:  good price for what you get , easy straps ,
  • Flex:  mid

Experience:   So my little brother uses these bindings and they work great for him the tech is simple but still looks like the bigger more expensive ones. To parents these would work great for your kid and last them for quite awhile and will be easy for them to use.

"Cheap but manageable " 12/28/2010
Helpful Review?   (1) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: Burton Freestyle Snowboard Bindings Men's
  • Pros:  Cheap, Flexible,
  • Cons:  non-durable,

Experience:   I rode these bindings for just a few months then ended up selling them to a friend. However before buying these I saw the many reviews on how they were falling apart with the foam, etc. etc., My father rode long long ago and he said he'd have many ideas on how to get the foam to stay and how to make any cheap model slowly function like an efficient higher end model. This may sound stupid... But LIGHTLY coating your foam in a wd 40 like substance will substantially reduce friction so your boot won't tear it up. However you will need to pay attention and not nonchalantly put your foot in the board because you may slip out. Once strapped in you will notice zero difference. If the foam still begins to tear poke holes with a sewing needle in a few placed areas around the stressed foam. This will alleviate the stress and displace it elsewhere. I did this for my friend and he says the bindings are still working perfectly to this day and nothing has seemed to tear. (poking holes will not make your binding foam invincible it will just slow down the inevitable ripping by a significant amount)

pretty good bindings for beginner.. i currently use the older version and my only complaint is that the straps arent big enough to wrap around my toes so i have to do the traditional strap in

TheRuckusMovement
yeah agreed. I have last years model too haha. Addicted to the freestyles'... I got a size 13 boot and the strap barely fit around, came undone a few times which was annoying. Don't find that a problem with this version tho!! I promise

"Great Beginner Bindings" 11/29/2011
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: Burton Freestyle Snowboard Bindings Men's
  • Pros:  Great Price, Clip did not jammed, Stylish
  • Cons:  Reasonable foot support , gas pedal ,
  • Flex:  soft

Experience:   These are great binding for beginner snowboarder, was able to try them out today and they work great. Easy to clip on and remove boots from. The only negative was gas pedal is a little cheaply made of plastic and hard to remove and adjust without the fear of breaking it. Cannot beat Burton bindings that are under 100 bucks!
