"Good mittens!" 4/21/2010
Helpful Review?   (2) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: Burton Gore Mittens
  • Pros:  Waterproof, Nice little features, Warm insulation

Experience:   These mittens seem to do no wrong. They are waterproof and warm. The inside feels comfortable and soft. They come equipped with goggle wipe (left mitt), wrist tighten straps, sleeve tighteners (you pull on, they cinch), and wrist strings (to let the mittens dangle from your wrists when you take them off so you don't have to hold them). Also looks like they made the thumb a different material on the exterior, if you're into nose wiping. And there is a zipper on the top that opens up an area on top of the mitt. Could be utilized as a vent or a place to put a heater pack if you need it. Overall, well done. My one issue, I bought a medium after reading other reviews saying size up. I usually wear a small and I think I could have gone with one. If you are going to wear the glove liners, maybe then size up one.

"EHHH" 1/10/2011
Helpful Review?   (1) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: Burton Gore Mittens
  • Pros:  Really warm, Love the liners, Elastic wrist things
  • Cons:  Cheap material, Not durable,

Experience:   I had these for 2 days and the elastic at the velcro site starting ripping! I also noticed there was a tear inside the glove. I'm very bummed that they didn't even last me a whole season. Besides that, they are extremely warm and very comfortable.

"Warm, dry, fits with wrist guards" 11/22/2010
Helpful Review?   (1) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: Burton Gore Mittens
  • Pros:  Warm and dry , Fits wrist guards,
  • Cons:  small cuff = slips between jacket sleeve,

Experience:   I wore these gloves in 30 degree bluebird days and a -20 windchill day at Loveland in Colorado. These gloves did well on the warm days (no yucky sweating) and the cold day (fingers were never numb and I didn't need to use any handwarmer inserts). These gloves also fit over my wrist brace, fleece and coat - cinched up very nice with no snow getting through. The negative is the cuff isn't very long, meaning that if you don't cinch just right you'll end up with a gap between your jacket sleeve and cinched part of mitten. Maybe you're more proficient of a mitten putter-oner so this may not apply to all. Overall, a great warm mitten.

"Mittens with the rider in mind" 5/10/2010
Helpful Review?   (1) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: Burton Gore Mittens
  • Pros:  Warm, Easy to use, Nice design

Experience:   I have nothing bad to say about Burton Mittens. They are super warm and comfy to wear. What I particularly like is that the sleeve part is big enough to put over your jacket or under your jacket to avoid cold snow from breaching precious warm skin. Easy to put on and tighten and they look nice.

"Wonderful gloves" 4/15/2010
Helpful Review?   (1) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: Burton Gore Mittens
  • Pros:  Included fleece liners, GoreTex!,
  • Cons:  Bulkier than expected,

Experience:   Great prices for GoreTex gloves. Sizing is true doing the knuckle width measurement. Even though the mittens out of the bag looks a bit bulky, it fits just right. One thought is to definitely size up if you're borderline and have long fingers. Included fleece liner is a wonderful bonus (turquoise-ish colored grip liners come with the black gridline mits).

"Great Mittens" 10/19/2014
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: Burton Gore Mittens
  • Pros:  warm , waterproof, so far durable

Experience:   I've only had them for a year, but so far they are holding up far better than my old gloves. They've held up decently, but I've still had plenty of night boarding that these can't hold up to. But I don't think any gloves have that amount of warmth for me. They are completely waterproof, and a they fit nicely around a pair of liners. I've gone through 4 pairs of gloves. Some fell apart, others were just freezing my hand. These are by far my favorite.

"Women size mitten" 2/6/2014
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: Burton Gore Mittens
  • Pros:  Seems warm,
  • Cons:  too small, liner is not touch screen compatible,

Experience:   Received my mittens in the mail but was disapointed that they were too small when I tried them on. When I selected the return option on my order, I noticed in the description that these were women mittens. This wasn't noted anywhere else. Wish the product description were clearer. However, these seems to be very nice mittens. Just order a size larger if you are planning to purchase them.

"Great Mittens" 1/20/2014
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: Burton Gore Mittens
  • Pros:  Warm, Waterproof, Durable
  • Cons:  Too Warm,

Experience:   These mittens are absolutely great. They are everything i expected out of them. With temps in the high 20's, lows 30's they do get too warm with under gloves or even by themselves. If you're looking for mittens, yeah they're slightly expensive but you can't go wrong with them.
