"Steezy Gore Mitts" 1/25/2012
Helpful Review?   (1) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: Burton GoreTex Mittens
  • Pros:  Warm, Vent/Storage Pocket, Steezy
  • Cons:  Not a fan of gauntlets,

Experience:   Theses mittens are awesome. Warm with a vent pocket if it gets too warm. You also get the removable glove liners for those really cold days or use the liners on those extra warm sessions. Besides being waterproof, these gloves also look fresh!

"Burton Gore-Tex Mitten" 2/6/2014
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: Burton GoreTex Mittens
  • Pros:  Very Warm, Zip pocket for handwarmers and a vent,
  • Cons:  Wrist straps can come untied if you pull too hard.,

Experience:   The Burton Gore-Tex Mitten is a great glove. The fabric making the body of the glove is very light while the GORE-TEX liner insulates very well. When I was out in Colorado it was in the single digits at the top of the mountain. My hands were very warm while wearing the gloves, and I did not even put hand-warmers in the secret zip pockets on top of the gloves. The gloves also have straps to go around your wrists to prevent you from losing them should you take them off on the lift or anywhere else.I bought these in a Large, which is the size I usually buy, and they fit perfectly. They left room for my fingers to move in the mitten, but weren't too lose to fall off. There are also pull straps at the base of the mitten to tighten around your wrist, preventing snow from getting in, and keep warm air in. The straps that go around your wrists for when you take the mittens off are tied together with a knot. sometimes the knot can come undone, but it takes a second to retie them.

"Perfect Mittens" 1/21/2014
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: Burton GoreTex Mittens
  • Pros:  Very Warm, Come with removable liner, Best Deal on Mittens

Experience:   I bought these mittens after having my fingers freeze in below 0 weather. I have worn these on days when the windchill was -20 and they are my go to mittens every day. My hands have never gotten wet the goretex waterproofing works great. Definitely recommend buying these mittens if you are looking for a warm mitten at a great price. At ski shops I have seen the liner inside the gloves cost $20 so definitely worth the money

"Great Mittens for the price!" 1/19/2013
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: Burton GoreTex Mittens
  • Pros:  Warm, Dry,
  • Cons:  Mitten runs a bit long, the over the wrist cuff is annoying,

Experience:   I've ridden these in -5 degrees with wind and I'm happy to say that I never did got cold fingers. You'll need to wear the lining that come with the mittens of course. Never once got wet with them either. I've ridden in warm weather as well and when it heats up there's a side vent you can unzip to get some airflow going. These are a bit hard to put on if you're wearing the inner glove liner. I wear size small and the wrist part is tight when I try to put on the gloves with lining--even with the wrist strap loosen all the way. Another thing i don't like about these mittens is that it runs a bit long on the fingers and short at the thumb. So it makes it a bit harder to hold things, like my monopod stick to take videos or putting on my bindings is a bit hard too. the wrist part of the mitten is a bit bulky since it's over the wrist cuff but i like to wear it under my sleeves so it's a pair trying to get my coat's sleeve to go over the mitten to wrap around them. Aside from the two cosmetic issues the mittens are super cozy and dry. I use these for super cold days and sometimes warmer days when I take lots of photos with the camera so I can slip my hands in and out of the mittens.

"Top Quality Mittens" 1/1/2013
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: Burton GoreTex Mittens
  • Pros:  Design, Warmth, Breathablity

Experience:   These are all around just some sick mittens. They are so warm I mostly ride without the insert gloves, which have a nice grip pattern on the palm (It's weird but I got the inserts to work with my iPhone screen one day on the Mountain, but haven't since lol). They have vents on top of the mitten you can unzip and open, also doubles and a stash pocket. With plenty of drawstring for those powdery days. Great gloves for the price!

"Nice Mitts" 12/23/2012
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: Burton GoreTex Mittens
  • Pros:  warm, waterproof, durable

Experience:   Picked these up because my previous pipe gloves just weren't cutting it. The first thing you'll notice about these mitts is how warm they are. They come with nice liners and paired with the mitt they are almost too warm, but without the liner they are still great. It says the liners are supposed to work with touch screens, but it doesn't work for me, not a big deal to me. The vent pockets are nice, a little hard to zip close while they are on your hands. They seem very durable so far (only used a few times) and they are very waterproof which is a must have. The only bad thing I can say is they fit a little bigger than what I expected, overall a great pair of mitts for the price.

"Good Mitts" 10/3/2012
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: Burton GoreTex Mittens
  • Pros:  Water proof, Warm,
  • Cons:  Wrists are tight, Hard to use with wrist guards.,

Experience:   On the east coast, I end up in a lot of wet conditions. These keep me warm and dry. The liners are nice for those colder days. Only issue is the wrist is a bit tight when putting the gloves on. Any you really have to work them over your wrist guards.

"Great Mit" 3/26/2012
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: Burton GoreTex Mittens
  • Pros:  Very warm, Very Comfy,
  • Cons:  NONE,

Experience:   I usually dont like mittens but I got a pair of the Gore-Tex Burton mitts this season and love them. They are perfect on those cold, windy days. I really like how waterproof they are due to gore-tex material. If you have cold hands you need these mittens. I would not use these everyday on the mountain but have lighter gloves for warm days.

  • Pros:  Warm , Dry , Comfy
  • Cons:  Pull tight string came out, Liner stiching along fingers, Liner is tight in glove

Experience:   I love these gloves I do not where the liners to tight for me work great in my xl Burton mittens the pocket is hard to close after open as for the string when I first used them went to open the glove up and the pull tight string came right out make sure the knot is tight I double up both of them thank god I got the string back threw so all was good oh yeah it's been a wet season since I've had these have not pulled out any other gloves when riding and I always bring extras
