Burton boards with the Channel System do not ship with Retro Disks or hardware. You will need to call Burton for a free set at (800) 881-3138.

Sierra Says: The GTwin is Burton's elite freestyle board for women. The mid-soft flex, twin shape, and Negative Profile make sliding rails and hitting jumps as fun as possible. We recommend the GTwin for the skilled rider that is looking for top performance in the park and on the mellower groomed runs.

Burton Says: Natasza Zurek took the reins on this one, and damn, she's one hell of a driver. Buttery and playful, yet serious enough to keep up with Natasza's level of riding, the GTwin is for those who don't stop 'til they've stomped it. An even softer flex makes the board easier to press and less likely to buck you on take-offs and landings. That perfect stance? Get it with the Channel, which offers unlimited options with any Burton binding.

"GNARLEY PARK BOARD" 2/10/2010
Helpful Review?   (3) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: Burton Gtwin Womens
  • Skill:  Intermediate
  • Use:  Butters,Halfpipe,Jibs,Jumps,Low Speeds,Switch Riding
  • Pros:  great park board, extremely light, sahweet graphics
  • Cons:  not the best for freeriding,

Experience:   i bought this board brand new with a complete burton setup after my first year of snowboarding and it is so much lighter compared to my old board! its really great, you can do ollies and cute tricks with it because its so easy to move around. I'm 5'4 and I bought a 142 board so that it'd be easier for me to hit the park but I think the 146 could prolly work well. So far, I've been loving the board but the only problems I have with it are freeriding in places...it has some chatter to it and can't really ride over it. Other than that, if you're looking to hit some tricks, this is the board for you!!! Also, the graphics (I had the 2009) were pretty gnarley.

"Good park board. Not super soft flex" 3/16/2010
Helpful Review?   (2) Yes    (3) No

  • Name: Burton Gtwin Womens
  • Skill:  Intermediate
  • Pros:  Good in park and groomers,
  • Cons:  Not as soft as expected,

Experience:   Burton's GTwin is a great board for those looking at progressing into the park. It has a soft medium flex, but not a uber soft wet noodle flex. Means its capable of hitting park featues and jumps without being an absolute noodle. Holds a decent edge on groomers but definitely not a speed machine, espcially in smaller sizes.

"specifically park" 6/14/2010
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: Burton Gtwin Womens
  • Skill:  Intermediate
  • Use:  Boxes,Jumps,Rails
  • Pros:  Great for park, flexi, twin
  • Cons:  none if used properly,

Experience:   OK if you are buying this board and you: are not a park rat, want this as your only board, listen up! This board is made to shred the park. It was not designed to be carving groomed trails top to bottom at high speeds. There for if you are looking to a. learn to ride, b. buy one board for all mountain lean towards the feelgood. However, if you belong in SA (Snowboarders Anonymous) and want this to go into your collection as a new park board (excluding the half pipe) this is your new best friend. It flexes it slides and it jumps, high...in fact it even spins.

"I <3 Burton Boards!" 3/4/2010
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: Burton Gtwin Womens
  • Skill:  Intermediate
  • Use:  Carving,High Speeds
  • Pros:  ICS system is so easy to use!, The Graphics are sick!,

Experience:   The board doesn't have as much bend in it as I thought it would have but it's great for craving and riding fast. I've used this on the mountain and love it! I love the graphic design on this board (kind of the reason why I picked it)! This is a great board for beginners or intermediate riders!
