Hacksaw havoc for the park. Hate running from security? Hate low-end “twin” boards that don’t hold up to street beatings? Hate getting bucked backwards down stairwells? Hate fighting camber? Hate half-assed tail presses? Hate everything? Then grab the new skate-shaped Hate and get pissed off.

  • Name: Burton Hate Snowboard
  • Skill:  Intermediate
  • Pros:  v rocker in pow, buttery ,
  • Cons:  unstable at speed on groomers, tip and tail delamination,

Experience:   rode this board for a half of season, was excellent in pow. the v rocker makes for easy cruising with not having to rely on the back leg as much. the tip and tail are super buttery, almost too much for bigger jumps. the board is very forgiving and doesnt catch edges. for rails it comes detuned right out of the box. great for presses since its drastically rockered by the V. for spinning off jumps this board will help with sketchy landings and not catching edges. same goes for spinning off rails and jibs. one problem with the V rocker for rails is not locking too good on boardslides because of the V shape. my buddy had the flat version of this board and when we switched it is a huge difference in the catchyness of the board. if you are looking for a jib board and your area gets alot of pow i would go for the v rocker version. if you are an avid jibber and dont get that much pow the flat version would be a better choice. another issue i have is the tip and tail delaminating very easy. after the half of season with the board the tip and tail are peeling like a banana. because of that i give 3 stars.

also on hard pack at speeds its very unstable when leaned back because the front end wants to point upward with the v rocker. stick to pow with the V

  • Skill:  Intermediate
  • Pros:  soft, playfull,
  • Cons:  no ICS,

Experience:   I HATE HATE HATE Burton's old 3d system. And that is what this board has. I think i may have liked the board more if i could have had my stance the way i wanted. It felt like a cheap board, but was real fun to spin butters and do some presses. I just can't get over the stupid hole pattern. Spend more and get a burton with ICS, or a different brand altogether.

  • Name: Burton Hate Snowboard
  • Skill:  Beginner
  • Pros:  Flexible, Light, Sick design
  • Cons:  not too sturdy, not stable,

Experience:   This board is decent for the price, but there are definitely much better boards out there. It's got pretty soft flex and zero camber, so it's good for buttering and jibbing. But then again, I tried my bro's sierrascope, and it was stiffer yet butterier, so there are better boards out there for da price. And I rode it for only one season, going up about 40 times, and my tail is cracking already, so thats not too cool.
