Experience: The burton HOD boot is okay. I rode them last year and they were really good except the laces riped. other than that the boot flexis really well and you feel the board really good with these boots com;ared to others. over all i think these boots are good for riders who like to feel there boards when riding. so go out and buy a pare.

Experience: I abused these boots last season and they totally fell apart. The tip of my boots got all ripped up and the laces broke. They had nice flex throughout the year though.

Experience: Back when I bought these in 07 I was getting out 20-30 times a season and these boots are very comfortable, to begin I was quite impressed as I ordered online and they fit perfect and were snug as anything. However, that is all they have going for them. Once I got out onto the slopes the pull cords had to be replace about every 10 uses because they fray and then snap so I had to get 2 new ones and then by the end of the season the 3rd were on their way out. The cords were under warranty but it is a pain to have to keep bringing them in to the store. The boots are not water resistant at all. On a warm day you will have water sloshing up between your toes when carving. It was alright because I got to resell them for 80% of what I bought them for which is one good thing I'll say about all burton gear I've owned but I would advise you keep looking for another boot!!

Experience: I rode these boots hard on non-hike/pow days for a year, they held up well and maintained a similar flex throughout the year. Rider in mind, wants a softer flexing boot at a good price with a reduced foot print. Also, don't forget there is no perfect boot that works for everyone, only a perfect boot for your foot so go try some on.
