"Can't go wrong with Burton" 10/27/2013
Helpful Review?   (1) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: Burton Invader Boots
  • Pros:   Great design, Build quality, Warm
  • Cons:  Soft,
  • Fit:  mid
  • Flex:  mid
  • Shoe Size:  10
  • Boot Size:  10

Experience:   These boots are for a beginner - intermediate level. For a higher or more demanding level, I don't feel that they provide the necessary control. They are comfortable and the inside is soft yet sturdy. They mold right to the feet and my heals stay in place. Also, the boot is very warm and waterproof my feet stay dry in them all day. Full rubber out sole with ice spikes gives good traction. Lacing system is easy and works very well. Good boot for riding in all day.

"50-50" 2/15/2012
Helpful Review?   (1) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: Burton Invader Boots
  • Pros:  Comfort, Style, Toughness
  • Cons:  Can't ever get tight enough, Hard to brake in, Kinda bulky
  • Fit:  stiff
  • Flex:  mid
  • Shoe Size:  11
  • Boot Size:  11

Experience:   There real comfortable, but it comes with a price (not $$$ price). They stay stiff for ever witch gives them great durability but for what ever reason get loose real easy. I guess it's good for the money but I think I would rather throw in a few more bucks if you know what I mean. All and all not for me and I would defaintly not recommend them to anyone who cares about there feet.

"Pretty Good Boot" 11/30/2011
Helpful Review?   (1) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: Burton Invader Boots
  • Pros:  Good Price, very warm , nice look
  • Cons:  A bit stiff, Shoe strings/laces ,
  • Fit:  mid
  • Flex:  mid
  • Shoe Size:  11
  • Boot Size:  10

Experience:   I had a chance to ride with this boot for the first time today. I was very pleased with how well they felt and how warm they were. i was out for about 6 hours and my feet never seemed to get cold! ice and snow was building up on them but this didn't effect the warmth at all. This boots fit pretty well but i would recommend getting a size smaller than what you usually wear for maximum support and comfort. I wore these boots with Dakine bindings and they felt and fit excellent. There are not many cons with this boot except that they are a bit stiff and have shoe lace strings. The stiffness of these boots is overcome in just a matter of a few runs and the shoe lace strings do not bother me very much because i feel as though they make it tighter. Overall, the pros of this boot definitely outweighs the few cons.

"AWESOME" 3/4/2014

  • Name: Burton Invader Boots
  • Pros:  very comfortable , good stuff,
  • Cons:  cant find any so far,
  • Fit:  mid
  • Flex:  soft
  • Shoe Size:  9 1/2
  • Boot Size:  10

Experience:   I used this pair of boots three times so far and i love them. After riding for a whole day, my toes would be in pain in my previous boots. But these boots are just so comfortable. my feet are in perfect condition even after like 8 hours of non stop continuous riding.

"Good Beginner Boot" 3/27/2013
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: Burton Invader Boots
  • Pros:  Price, Comfort, Life
  • Cons:  Flex,
  • Fit:  mid
  • Flex:  soft
  • Shoe Size:  11.5
  • Boot Size:  11.5

Experience:   Burton did a good job with this beginner boot, which I purchased earlier in 2013. After reading reviews saying that its a good boot for those who dont know what they need, it was right. I was glad that I started with this boot, because it is a good all around boot, but lets you know what you like and dont like. And the price is pretty good as a learning experiment. My biggest complaint is that once my skills improved, I felt the response on this boot was not enough to my liking, and I'm pretty much over traditional lacing. Also, it's a little bit on the wide side in terms of boot outer. However, I wouldn't have known what I wanted in next seasons boots without these. Great beginner boots, but be ready to upgrade in a season.

"Awesome Boots For The Price!" 2/4/2012
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: Burton Invader Boots
  • Pros:  Super Comfy, Good Fit for Wide Feet,
  • Cons:  None,
  • Fit:  mid
  • Flex:  stiff
  • Shoe Size:  11-11 1/2
  • Boot Size:  11

Experience:   I just got these boots because I needed new ones.. They are pretty cheap pricewise, but they are made of great material. I would recommend getting the next size down from your shoe size if you wear a half size. They fit great on my wide feet. Burton really makes some quality products. Solid boot for a solid price. I highly recommend them.

"Great cheap boot" 11/1/2011
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: Burton Invader Boots
  • Pros:  Simple Design, Fresh look, Affordable
  • Cons:  Shoe strings instead of pull strings, Not the lightest boot out there,
  • Fit:  mid
  • Flex:  mid
  • Shoe Size:  8.5
  • Boot Size:  9

Experience:   If you want an affordable boot that will still work good for you then the burton invader is what you should get. It would be nicer to have pull strings instead of having to lace up, but that's what you sacrifice for getting a more affordable price. I am an all mountain rider who also likes the terrain park and these boots work good anywhere. Overall I am satisfied with these boots.

"Solid Boot" 9/26/2011
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: Burton Invader Boots
  • Pros:  warm, sturdy, durable
  • Cons:  a little stiff, doesn't wear in quick,
  • Fit:  mid
  • Flex:  stiff
  • Shoe Size:  11
  • Boot Size:  10

Experience:   The boot is very very warm. Ice builds up on the outside and it does not effect the boot at all. I actually had to stop one day last year because my feet were on fire. It is a sturdy boot, a little stiff, and doesn't wear in too quick. These are good things for us riders who need the extra ankle support. Looking for something not flashy but solid and durable, this is your boot. Plus, you won't break the bank.
