Sierra Says: The Lexa EST is coming off a big debut season and we expect the 2010 model to be just as popular. Combining precise amounts of flex, response, and comfort, Burton has raised the pot with this all-mountain freestyle binding. The Lexa EST is a must-have for any intermediate or advanced rider looking for something fun and versatile to compliment their Burton board.

Burton Says: As the technically twisted sister of Natasza Zurek and Spencer O'Brien, the Lexa EST drops hammers on all things freestyle. The NEW SensoryBED II cranks cushioning and improves brain-to-base connectivity by amplifying both board feel and control. The anatomically canted hi-backs mirror the natur... More ?

"Lukewarm Lexa" 4/5/2010
Helpful Review?   (1) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: Burton Lexa EST Snowboard Bindings Women's
  • Pros:  tool free adjustment of straps, Channel binding, Toe cap and top of foot
  • Cons:  Toe cap comes off easily,
  • Flex:  soft

Experience:   Everything about this binding is well designed in theory. I am a big fan of the channel binding system which allows for pretty much infinite number of stances. I bought this binidng to go with my Burton Feelgood. One complaint I have about the binding is that the toe cap comes off my boot quite easily no matter how tight I put them on. I'm still not sure if I really like this binding or not...

Comments & Questions

tmoney
She prefers to wear the toe cap over the boot.

"Overall Good Binding" 2/17/2011
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: Burton Lexa EST Snowboard Bindings Women's
  • Pros:  EST has great response, Locks down my ankle very well,
  • Cons:  Binding too small for size 8 boot, Toe cap falls off,
  • Flex:  mid

Experience:   I bought this binding to go with my feelgood board and supreme boot. I am a size 8 boot and a medium binding, always have been. For some reason, on this boot the medium binding was too tight and was cutting into the side of my foot...I was in a lot of pain. However, Burton has awesome customer service and sent me a new, bigger strap. I brought it over to the burton store and they set it all up and now it rides perfect. I also agree with the other posts about the toe strap. The guys at the Burtons store helped make it more centered on my board so it doesn't happen as much or at all. Overall it is a good binding. I had some trouble getting it setup properly, but now it works great!

"It's okay" 10/26/2010

  • Name: Burton Lexa EST Snowboard Bindings Women's
  • Pros:  Inexpensive, Good flex and comfort,
  • Cons:  Hard as hell to strap ,
  • Flex:  soft

Experience:   The girlie got these cuz she liked that they were the same color as the Sacramento Kings' colors... Go figure. They seem nice, she had issues getting the straps to latch on initially.. might be because they were new. But they look good, gave a good feel, so overall just good.

"For what it's worth." 10/13/2010
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: Burton Lexa EST Snowboard Bindings Women's
  • Pros:  Inexpensive, Easy Strap-ons,
  • Cons:  Not super sucure, Comes off easy, Not super comfy
  • Flex:  mid

Experience:   I went away to my cousin's place and he let me use his friend's board who doesn't often ride. As I was going down a blue run taking it easy, the strap of my toe came undone... I thought it was just because I didn't do it up properly at first, but later on in the day it started happening more and more often. If you're looking for something cheap to use and I guess to learn with, this could be the way to go.

"Good Value, Adequate Preformance" 9/8/2010
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: Burton Lexa EST Snowboard Bindings Women's
  • Pros:  EST Channel System Rocks, Easy to Adjust,
  • Cons:  Toe cap slips off,
  • Flex:  mid

Experience:   These were my first set of EST binding and they got the job done. The only complaint I have is that the toe cap would slip upward while riding (not a huge deal). Overall, I would recommend these bindings for a beginner-intermediate rider.

"Not bad mid range" 4/11/2010
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: Burton Lexa EST Snowboard Bindings Women's
  • Pros:  Good fit,
  • Cons:  toe cap comes loose,

Experience:   My first est/ics set up and I found these OK. compared to the responsiveness of the Escapade bindings I was a little disapppinted, but for a beginner/low intermediate cruiser they are OK.
