  • Name: Burton Lexa Snowboard Bindings Women's
  • Pros:  great all around, lot of cushioning , est option
  • Cons:  strap comes loose ,
  • Flex:  mid

Experience:   demoed this via a friend in march. it was great all around, great response and moderate flexing. It was in a very cool color, mix between yellow and red. its fairly light compared to the bindings l have and came with a cushioning on the bottom of the binding. l felt like it helped with some shock proofing. The strap was rubber and was good but at times, it came off my toes without me noticing, and this was just over a 4-5hr session. The way the highback is set it sort of sucks your foot into it, making it more responsive. great overal binding, highly recommended. should fix the straps though

  • Name: Burton Lexa Snowboard Bindings Women's
  • Pros:  on the lighter side, toe cap strap, toolless adjustments
  • Cons:  require some tweaking for proper fit,
  • Flex:  stiff

Experience:   Got these bindings and tried them out for the first time last week. Feel really responsive, and are easy to get in and out of. That said, I definitely needed to tweak the straps to center them and make them fit my size 7 boot the best. Lots of padding makes them feel nice and they seem to be made well.

"Best midrange Burton Binding!" 12/31/2011

  • Name: Burton Lexa Snowboard Bindings Women's
  • Pros:  Buckles over the boot toes,
  • Flex:  mid

Experience:   Having ridden this for 1/2 a season now, I can say this is the best intermediate Burton bindings for all mountain riding. I prefer the buckles that strap in front of the boot toes instead of over the top of the boot. I feel this gives me better maneuverability and support.

  • Name: Burton Lexa Snowboard Bindings Women's
  • Pros:  responsive, light,
  • Cons:  The toe caps slide , Have to adjust the strap often,
  • Flex:  mid

Experience:   I do not really know if I like this bindings. The toe caps always slide off the toe every few runs. I do need to adjust to straps more often compared to my old bindings. The ankle straps put too much pressure on my boots which hurt after a few hours. I hope this will get better once the straps get older.

Experience:   My girlfriend used these as a learner pair of bindings. Not only were they good for learning because they were flexible and forgiving, but as she progressed they were able to keep up with her ability making everyday riding still easy

  • Name: Burton Lexa Snowboard Bindings Women's
  • Pros:  Sturdy,
  • Cons:  Toe strap,
  • Flex:  mid

Experience:   I purchased these for myself and they are great aside from the toe strap slipping after a trail or two. It's not a big deal however, I simply adjust it every other time that I get off the lift and strap in my back foot.

"Great Bindings!" 12/25/2010
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: Burton Lexa Snowboard Bindings Women's
  • Pros:  very sturdy,
  • Cons:  toe strap slips often,
  • Flex:  mid

Experience:   These are awesome bindings! Got a great hold onto my boots. I bought these as a beginner rider which may be a bit pricey but well worth it! The only downside about these bindings is that the toe strap from time to time slips out of place and I keep having to check and adjust them.

"Decent Bindings" 11/1/2010
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: Burton Lexa Snowboard Bindings Women's
  • Pros:  Effortless Adjustments, Quality Ratchets, Comfortable
  • Cons:  Cap Strap, Rusty Screws, Fabric Tearing
  • Flex:  mid

Experience:   I bought these bindings last year, and have used them frequently throughout one full season. Overall, I've been happy with these bindings. They fit my boots (Burton Casa) amazingly. The main issue I've had with these bindings is related to the cap strap. After tightening m bindings at the top of the run and snowboarding down, my cap straps would not be in place anymore. They always slipped up to the top of my boot and came loose. I double checked with various board shops to be sure I had them set correctly, and no matter how they were adjusted, the problem still occurred. Aside from that issue, the only other problems I've experienced are probably due to the number of times I used my bindings last season (3-4 times a week, every week. All season long). I noticed that the screws on the ratchets were rusting out really bad and the fabric on the straps got easily worn out and ripped about halfway through the riding season. I'm a pretty aggressive rider, but I think these things should have lasted longer than just one riding season. I made sure to wipe off my bindings and secure the straps for safe storing while not on the mountain, and this still happened. I noticed that the issue with the cap strap has been resolved with the newer Burton bindings, so I would highly recommend purchasing the newest version instead of these.
