"The Burton Lightweight Pant is a must-have for mild days, and great for an added boost when combined with additional layers midwinter. Unlike cotton, DRYRIDE Ultrawick™ fabric wicks away wetness to keep you dry all day. Can’t touch your toes? With two-way stretch you get the flexibility needed to fully filet that stalefish. Speaking of stale fish, Stink-Proofing is a must, cause lets face it, you’re not doing your laundry every day. Don’t just think snowboarding with the Lightweight Pant— its technical performance makes it ideal for year-round comfort when getting active outdoors"

"good for spring riding or hiking" 11/28/2010
Helpful Review?   (1) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: Burton Lightweight First Layer Top Men's
  • Pros:  good construction, good fit but try them on first,
  • Cons:  very lightweight,
  • Fit:  Just right
  • My Size:  M
  • Fits Like:  M
  • Description:  a little bit big

Experience:   These are great thermals if you are going to be hiking a lot or if the sun is out. You will want something thicker in cold or stormy weather. They fit a little big so try them on first.

"Lightweight and warm" 3/31/2011
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: Burton Lightweight First Layer Top Men's
  • Pros:  Good material. Keep you warm and dry, Sweat evaporate fast. Durable and thin, simple design, good quality, comfortable
  • Cons:  a bit long, it's light weight, ( I will wear it with my system pants if too cold),
  • Fit:  Too big
  • My Size:  M
  • Fits Like:  M
  • Description:  The waist is good fit but it's a bit long

Experience:   Got these thin themolayer for extra warmth in cold weather. They works well with my DC, burton and ride snowboard pants. The material is thin and durable. It's quite comfy unlike some of those technical baselayer makes you all itchy. They do trap heat but yet very breathable. I don't feel moist on my leg wearing them the whole night riding. I sometimes put them under my jeans in cold weather on trips and they works well. One draw back is the sizes a running a bit big and long. So try before you buy. Great lightweight baselayer after all.

"Great layer-a must have" 3/9/2011
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (1) No

  • Name: Burton Lightweight First Layer Top Men's
  • Pros:  Fits well, Very comfortable, Warm
  • Cons:  a little baggy at first,
  • Fit:  Too big
  • My Size:  L
  • Fits Like:  L
  • Description:  Great

Experience:   What can I say that hasn't already been described? Well they are the best in under layers, and are a must for the avid snowboarder. Getting the right under layers can be the difference between snow getting in your pants, and not in your pants. So overall it is a must when things to get for snowboarding!

"Great Lightwt. First Layer" 2/6/2011
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: Burton Lightweight First Layer Top Men's
  • Pros:  Moisture Wicking, Light wt., Non-restricting
  • Cons:  None so far,
  • Fit:  Just right
  • My Size:  XL
  • Fits Like:  XL
  • Description:  Nice and Snug

Experience:   I have been using these pants as a first layer on and off for the past two seasons and can definitely vouch for them as being a worthy investment. They have a good stretch and really get the job done when it comes to getting perspiration away from the skin, while also keeping you dry. I've used them on very cold days with only my jacket on top and have been very warm. Also the material has held up very well for two years worth of heavy use, not stretched out or anything.

"I absolutely LOVE this item!!" 1/25/2011
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: Burton Lightweight First Layer Top Men's
  • Pros:  warm, loose and comfortable, great fit
  • Fit:  Just right
  • My Size:  M
  • Fits Like:  M
  • Description:  Pretty comfortable fit, but still loose enough so it's not too tight

Experience:   Something EVERYONE should have if they're spending their day on the slopes. I don't know how i can live without this first layer. It's so comfortable that i don't feel restricted at all when i wear it. Yet it does its job and keep my lower body incredibly warm but not too hot. I don't know how they do it, but burton makes some incredible first layers... i don't see myself switching to anything else for a long long long time.
