Experience:   I love my Malavitas. They are super easy to set up and adjust. The hinge on the 2012s is really nice for the lateral flex. Woth the upgrade from 2011 in my opinion. When I use these bindings I feel like I can throw my board around however I want. These bindings are super comfy. I love the asymetrical foot strap (which you can flip for different support if you want to). I never have foot pain.

Experience:   I have been riding Burton triads for several years now until their discontinuation. A friend recommended Malavitas for my all around board and he was right on. They are comfy for the long days, flex just enough foe the park/jib days and you can hammer them without any worries. I have had several EST bindings and they all have required a drop of loc-tite to the main bolts, otherwise plan on having to crank them down during a day of hard charging.(use blue medium hold loc-tite so you get them loose again when you want to adjust) Great all-around binding,would recommend to anyone who enjoys hitting every area the mountain offers.

Experience:   Malavita bindings are at the apex of binding technology. These are things excel in the park or on the mountain. I used these bindings on my Burton Hero as my all around board - the board I would take to the resort to jump and jib all over the mountain. Features - The first thing you will notice when setting them up is the unique adjustment system. Basically you can make minor adjustments without tools. My personal favourite feature is the ankle strap. If you are carving, they come set up for you, and give you tons of support and are very responsive. If you are shredding the park, however, you can flip the strap around for more mobility (better presses, tweaked out grabs). The buckles are very nice. They are smooth, strong, and easy to release. The footbed - comfy as always. Setting up the bindings is a breeze with Burtons standard measurement system. The final feature (although not specific to this binding) is the EST system. Unlimited setup options and much better board feel. Comfort - They are very light and comfortable. With some dialing in, the oversized ankle strap and the grippy toe cap lock you in very tight. The large strap eliminates any sort of pressure points, and the footbed has more than enough squish (no binding plate, remember?). Becuase of all the tech loaded into these things, they really are a great binding for that intermediate/advanced guy. You will see tons of sponsored guys rocking these on their setups. Just make sure that you crank the bolts down, I find with the EST system they can shift around on big landings if they aren't tight. Highly reccomended.
