"The first faction of freestyle. The Malavita EST™ is a man’s binding and Danny Davis can grow a mustache. Together they can tweak a mean corked 10, land flat in the Midwest, and manhandle some serious rails. The gelled-up SensoryBED II™ underfoot combines with an air-padded hi-back for total impact insulation. Asym shaping of the ankle strap puts more torque in your spork, while the Gettagrip Capstrap™ gives you more spring off your toes."

  • Name: Burton Malavita EST Snowboard Bindings Men's
  • Pros:  Soft, Comfy,
  • Cons:  Not agreesive,
  • Flex:  soft

Experience:   These ary my favorite park bindings. Very soft for rails boxes and jumps butare not agreesive and stiff for all mtn riding. Thry are decent mtn bindings but i would recomend a different pair. If you are looking for park bindings these are them.

  • Name: Burton Malavita EST Snowboard Bindings Men's
  • Pros:  cap strap, comfortable,
  • Cons:  colors,
  • Flex:  mid

Experience:   I rode these for the past season and the gigantic cap strap is the best feature. It pushes your heel back and keeps it there which translates to more control and board feel. The also gigantic upper strap disperses the force over your boot so you hardly feel that either. The est system is great for customizability but I think that because it only uses 2 bolts you have to check them once or twice a day because they tend to loosen more than the normal 3 or 4 bolts systems.

"Great Binding" 3/4/2012
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: Burton Malavita EST Snowboard Bindings Men's
  • Pros:  Easy to set up, Comfortable,
  • Cons:  Broken a few parts,
  • Flex:  mid

Experience:   I was concerned the bindings would be to flexible and park oriented. They have been great all over the mountain and comfortable. I have broken a few straps, toe caps and a buckle but Burton sends me replacement pieces with no charge. Liked them so much imrecently bought the newer version.

"Locked in" 11/10/2011
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: Burton Malavita EST Snowboard Bindings Men's
  • Pros:  ASYM Strap, Mid Flex,
  • Cons:  Not the most comfy for free riding,
  • Flex:  mid

Experience:   I had a love hate relationship with these bindings last season. For park I thought they were a great binding, mid-flex with a lot of control and a great locked in feel. For free riding or on choppy stuff, I personally like a softer binding and a more mellow high-back and these wore me out and tended to work my calves. All in all a great binding.

"Amazing for park" 3/6/2011
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (1) No

  • Name: Burton Malavita EST Snowboard Bindings Men's
  • Pros:  soft, amazing for park,
  • Cons:  little expensive,
  • Flex:  soft

Experience:   I demo'd these about a month ago with the burton process i was doing presses only on the tip of the tail. these bindings were so good for park but could handle the whole mountain pretty well. if your looking for a park binding but want to ride a little around the mountain then this is for you.

Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (1) No

  • Name: Burton Malavita EST Snowboard Bindings Men's
  • Pros:  Responsive, Feel Everything ,

Experience:   these I demo'd a day ago and man do i wish i had different bindings now. I could heel to toe with ease. And recovering from catching an edge was a breeze. I truly enjoyed these bindings and want them badly. too bad they only pair with the burton channel system.

"2011 Malavita" 2/10/2011
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (1) No

  • Name: Burton Malavita EST Snowboard Bindings Men's
  • Pros:  Response, Asym Strap, Highback Air Pad
  • Cons:  None,
  • Flex:  mid

Experience:   I demo'd these bindings at the US Open last year with a burton sherlock and they were awesome. I was skeptical about the air pockets in the high back actually being able to be felt but in the end I was able to feel their cush. I also really enjoyed the asym strap, it gave me the extra cush and support for tweakability and control. Plus these bindings look killer.

"2011 Malavita Est" 1/3/2011
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: Burton Malavita EST Snowboard Bindings Men's
  • Pros:  Lightweight, Asym Strap, Super Comfy
  • Cons:  None seriously,
  • Flex:  mid

Experience:   Just got this binding and rode it all new years weekend and it is hands down the best park binding i've riden. i paired it with my 2011 burton hero and they go together to form a super flexy, super light weight board that just makes pressing and buttering so easy and helps my progression jump off the charts. Super comfy binding both on the feet and on the calf. No pressure points from the straps. My boot stay in place thanks to the cap strap. Serious park riders should look into this binding with the est and channel system. Mid flex and responsive enough. I'm a park rider and it was exactly what i was looking for.
