"Great stomp pad!!!" 10/30/2010
Helpful Review?   (3) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: Burton Medium Spike Snowboard Mat
  • Pros:  Provides good traction, Great design overall,
  • Cons:  on the expensive side for a stomp pad,

Experience:   I am sorry, but the review before mine stating that you gave it 3 stars because you have to follow the directions to put it on is absurd. I just got this stomp pad recently and have been very impressed by it. I followed the instructions and only placed the stomp pad on a board that i wiped clean. Placing pressure on the stomp pad, does make it adhere better. I actually like the design with the raised portion in the middle, giving you the definitive grip. Another thing to note is the spikes, they are really pointed and are rounded (which i find as a bonus as i hate the pointed ones and always see them as a possibility of damaging my boots). As mentioned the only real con, the price. If you want the better things in life, you gotta pay for them.

"Excellent Stomp Pad" 1/6/2012
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: Burton Medium Spike Snowboard Mat
  • Pros:  Great Grip, Stays on Board Well, Not Ugly
  • Cons:  None,

Experience:   This is an amazing stop pad! The metal bumps really give great traction for my free foot. I am an instructor so I do a lot of demos with one foot in, and it is important that my free foot not slip. This stomp pad does not disappoint. Also, it is clear and does not make my board look ugly :)

"Great Stomp Pad" 1/10/2011
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: Burton Medium Spike Snowboard Mat
  • Pros:  Easy Installation, Great Traction, Sticks to board

Experience:   This Stomp pad works great. I have owned similar stomp pads before but like this one the best. Other stomp pads that I have owned simply fall off after using it a few times. With this I simply stuck it to the board, left some wight on it for a couple days and its good to go. Snow does not get under the pad like other stomp pads that I have owned and so stays on a lot better. I wold recommend this item.

  • Name: Burton Medium Spike Snowboard Mat
  • Pros:  Great grip, Stays on the board well, Cleans snow off boot

Experience:   I bought this at the beginning of the year and i love it. Great grip for your foot and cleans the snow of your boot. This middle is a little higher creating good traction. Only wish is that it wasnt so cloudy needs to be more clear and it would be great.

"Good Stomp Pad" 1/3/2011
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (1) No

  • Name: Burton Medium Spike Snowboard Mat
  • Pros:  Excellent Grip, Sticks on Nicely,
  • Cons:  I wish it were larger,

Experience:   I tested out this stomp pad this season and it works great. I wished it were slightly larger (if it were 1 or 2 CM larger all around, it'd be the perfect stomp pad). As is, it works pretty good!

"Overall Good Stomp Pad" 1/1/2011
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: Burton Medium Spike Snowboard Mat
  • Pros:  Spikes, Mostly Transparent,
  • Cons:  Weird tint,

Experience:   It's pretty much a great stomp pad and of good value as well. Definitely worth the money. It adheres well to the board and it has both spikes and a sort of middle ridge area, both contributing to good snow removal. My only wish is that it were more transparent. It is clear but it has almost a slightly cloudy yellow tint to it that takes a bit away from my board graphics, other than that no complaints.

"Awesome " 12/31/2010
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: Burton Medium Spike Snowboard Mat
  • Pros:  Great Grip, Subtle color,

Experience:   This stomp pad is by far the best one I've had. The paddle-like thing on top is killer for knocking extra snow/ice off the bottom of your boots. The metal spikes provide perfect grip and it has a great overall design. It will also stay on your board forever.

"All around good stomp pad" 12/9/2010
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: Burton Medium Spike Snowboard Mat
  • Pros:  spike for grip, clear so it matches most boards, boot scraper

Experience:   Great stomp pad for those who don't necessarily need a stomp pad but would like to have something there, or someone who really wants a stomp pad on their board. It's got a good gripping surface partly because of the spikes but mostly because of that huge scraper going down the center of it that is useful for cleaning the snow off of your boot as well. It's nice to have because it protects the topcoat of your board too and you can still admire its design because its clear.
