Sierra Says: The Mint is a simple, yet comfortable boot that appeals to a lot of women for a few reasons. In addition to the modest price tag, this boot boasts a lightweight design, and quality fit, and a super quick speed lacing system. This makes it practical to many riders, especially the ones that are just starting out.

Burton Says: Loaded with quality and convenience at a price that is downright dope, it's easy to see why the Mint has been the world's best-seller six years straight. Our heat-moldable Imprint liner conforms to the exact contours of your feet, while True Fit means a down to the details design that shapes everything (even the lace guides!) around a women's foot shape. Speed Zone Express wraps the entire package with the simplicity of a single-pull lacing system.

"Not worth the money." 2/2/2010
Helpful Review?   (6) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: Burton Mint Snowboard Boots Women's
  • Pros:  Soft, Warm,
  • Cons:  Loose, No support, Tears easily
  • Fit:  mid
  • Flex:  soft
  • Shoe Size:  10
  • Boot Size:  9.5

Experience:   I got this boot this year for Christmas. I ride them almost everyday with a 149 Burton Feather (07)and Burton Escapade (07) At first I thought it was amazing because it kept my feet warm and seemed to fit very snug. After about 6 days I began to notice that the speed lacing would become very loose and did not support my foot at all. My carves and spins had no control because the boot was so loose around my ankles. Also around the lacing the material is tearing.

"Really uncomfortable" 7/17/2009
Helpful Review?   (2) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: Burton Mint Snowboard Boots Women's
  • Skill:  Beginner
  • Pros:  Durable, Traction, Warm, Waterproofing, Easy in & out, Well known brand
  • Cons:  Uncomfortable
  • Fit:  average

Experience:   Althought it is easy to get in and out of these shoes and tighten them I've found them really uncomfortable after about 1/2 an hour or so on the mountain. They made my feet numb so i had to losen them but then I got a considerable amount of heel lift... Not good. I hope this is just because I'm not used to the boots and they will get better otherwise I wouldn't recommend these boots (even for a beginner) as they are so uncomfortable.

"Great boot" 12/3/2010
Helpful Review?   (1) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: Burton Mint Snowboard Boots Women's
  • Pros:  Snug fit, Look, Comfort
  • Cons:  Worried about laces breaking,
  • Fit:  soft
  • Flex:  mid
  • Shoe Size:  7.5
  • Boot Size:  8

Experience:   These boots are really tight, which I like because I have narrow feet. They are comfy and lighter weight. One suggestion is to go a size up because I ended up being about an 8, and I normally wear 7.5. Also I am worried about the laces breaking, I pull pretty hard and I can see these breaking after a year of use. (hopefully not!) but the way they tighten is so convenient when your boarding you dont have to wait to lace up!

"didn't buy after trying them on" 10/18/2010
Helpful Review?   (1) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: Burton Mint Snowboard Boots Women's
  • Pros:  low cost, warm, Burton name
  • Cons:  not as comfortable as the Emerald, no BOA lacing, not as flexible as desired
  • Fit:  mid
  • Flex:  mid
  • Shoe Size:  6.5
  • Boot Size:  6.5

Experience:   Boots should ALWAYS be tried on before purchase because everyone's feet are slightly different. A friend had recommended these as entry level boots but they seemed to pinch the front of my foot and let my heel move. As I walked, the laces quickly loosened, which clearly will not work well on the mountain!

"Burton Mint Boots" 12/26/2011
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: Burton Mint Snowboard Boots Women's
  • Pros:  Good price, Popular in-stock boot ,
  • Cons:  Lacing system,
  • Fit:  mid
  • Flex:  mid
  • Shoe Size:  7
  • Boot Size:  6.5

Experience:   I wanted to like this boot but I really could not get past the speed lacing system. I'd rather have traditional laces or the BOA system. The speed laces seemed like a good concept to make it easier and faster to tie your laces but it actually seemed more complicated to me and made it difficult to get the boot tight.

Experience:   these are decent boots. i had flow bindings which could be a good reason why my right boot tore up pretty bad. but they keep your foot very warm, i just never got them to be tight on me. the speed lacing would always be loose

"Out the Door in Minutes" 1/2/2011
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: Burton Mint Snowboard Boots Women's
  • Pros:  Easy to put on, Tightens quickly, Hands aren't sore afterwards
  • Cons:  Tops gets loose after a while, Could be wider,
  • Fit:  soft
  • Flex:  mid
  • Shoe Size:  8
  • Boot Size:  8/9

Experience:   I liked this boot a lot when I wore it for the first time. It didn't take long for me to put the boot on - didn't struggle with laces and tightening was a cinch. The only thing I didn't really like about the boot was that the top gets loose easily (more frequently than it would with laced up boots) and you would have to re-tighten your straps every every two-three runs or so. However, if you do like a slightly loose, then I guess this boot is okay. Also, I have wide feet, so I wouldn't recommend wearing thick socks with these boots if it's already really snug on you when wearing regular socks. All in all, this is a good boot for the price I paid!

"Good for beginners" 11/20/2010
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: Burton Mint Snowboard Boots Women's
  • Pros:  soft flex, good for beginners starting out,
  • Cons:  won't last an entire season, not useful once off the bunny slope,
  • Fit:  mid
  • Flex:  soft
  • Shoe Size:  8
  • Boot Size:  8.5

Experience:   def designed for the snowboard newbie. the super soft material makes learning how to turn easier but won't hold up for long under slightly higher speeds.

"Love my boots!" 11/7/2010
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: Burton Mint Snowboard Boots Women's
  • Pros:  Fits well, Cushion,
  • Cons:  Toes still get really cold ,
  • Fit:  mid
  • Flex:  mid
  • Shoe Size:  8
  • Boot Size:  8

Experience:   The boot fits really nice. I tried on a few others before buying this one when I went to the Ski and Snowboard Expo. I just can't seem to find a way to make it so my toes aren't freezing no matter what boot I wear it always happens.
