"Good Park Binding" 10/6/2012
Helpful Review?   (1) Yes    (1) No

  • Name: Burton Mission EST Cant Snowboard Bindings
  • Pros:  Cool Color, Great Customer Support From Burton, Really Comfy, They fit really well, good flex
  • Cons:  Angle strap kinda hurts after a while,
  • Flex:  mid

Experience:   These bindings are pretty good, I'd give it a 4/5. They had good flex, but after a while they make your feet sore, they are great in the park and you can strap in super fast so you aren't sitting on your butt for 2 minutes strapping in.

"A classic" 4/28/2011

  • Name: Burton Mission EST Cant Snowboard Bindings
  • Pros:  Supportive, lightweight, cant bed:awesome
  • Cons:  some pain from the ankle strap,
  • Flex:  mid

Experience:   when i think of burton bindings, the mission and cartel come to mind. They are the mid range priced bindings made to perform well. I rode these on my nug, and thought they were awesome. The built in cant bed took pressure off my knees, and the bindings were so light i did not realize they were there sometimes. My only gripe was that i kept getting foot pain from the ankle strap. not sure why, but adjusting the strap did not make it go away. (i have not experienced this with other burtons, possibly just the way my boot was tied or something).

"Mission: Lime Green" 2/19/2013
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: Burton Mission EST Cant Snowboard Bindings
  • Pros:  Light weight, Good flex, Nice cushioned foot bed., EST with ICS makes stance change easy,
  • Cons:  ink/paint rubs off, foot bed are not adjustable,
  • Flex:  mid

Experience:   Have these bindings on my Custom Flying V. Main uses for All Mountain snowboarding. The good and bad about these is that they are EST bindings, so it'll only fit Burton boards, so if you like to swap bindings with other boards--don't get these. But, if you only use these for Burton boards, they're awesome. Like any EST bindings, they only have two screws and it makes it so much easier to change your stance on the go (if you let your friends try it for a run or two, it takes less than a couple minutes.) Second bad thing about these is the foot bed is not customizable (does not extend) to any length. It just have one foot bed size and my toes hang about 2 inches from the bindings (i have size small bindings but I wear size 8 boots) but that doesn't really take the performance away, just a cosmetic thing to me. The last bad thing about the bindings is the Ink/Brand, the MISSION logo rubs off from storage. I had the leather part of the heel strap on top of the binding's hiback (folded down) and it took some of the letters away. You can still make it out the be Mission but I can almost rub it off with a wet napkin now.... On to the good, these have good flex (mid flex, about 6) and they are so easy to put on and off. The straps is soft and flexible but strong. I've had them in -5 degrees F. weather with no issues. I put it through a good beating for a few days in that weather in CO. Also loving the gel padded heel strap--I hardly feel it's there! To me, these are very versatile bindings as I go through high speed groomers, powder, tree lines, a few small jumps here and there and the occasional jibs and butters. Did I mention they weight like nothing?

Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: Burton Mission EST Cant Snowboard Bindings
  • Pros:  Comfortable, Durable, Adjustability
  • Flex:  mid

Experience:   Love these Missions from Burton. The Asym strap is so good you won't ever want another strap. Midflex binding that can handle whatever you throw at it. totally responsive yet still allows you to tweak out big time. i used missions for 2 seasons and put over 100 days on em and they held up fantastic. The cant beds are awesome. get these.

Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: Burton Mission EST Cant Snowboard Bindings
  • Pros:  light Weight, EST Cant, Great colors
  • Flex:  mid

Experience:   Really solid bindings, I recommend them, confortable, almost forgettable when riding. The EST system it's really secure, solid and easy to adjust at any moment leisure, even on the road. I love the color lime & the other colors it've got. clearly one of the best ( middle range ) of Burton stuff. price it fair for the good product you're buying.

"Solid" 9/20/2011
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: Burton Mission EST Cant Snowboard Bindings
  • Pros:  Cant Bed, More forgiving than regular Missions,
  • Cons:  Different bed colors,
  • Flex:  mid

Experience:   These bindings are very very solid, I got them through Burton last year and rode around 40 days on them, the cant bed is really nice, its more forgiving on your legs than the regular footbeds. The only complaint I have is that the bed is all black unlike in the picture where it has a grey/speckled split color. Just a minor cosmetic thing. Still a solid binding.
