"Great/Simple/Get Job Done" 1/23/2014
Helpful Review?   (1) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: Burton Mission Snowboard Bindings Mens 2014
  • Pros:  Great Flex, Toe strap is always great,
  • Cons:  Strap/Buckle interface sometimes slips,
  • Flex:  mid

Experience:   I put these bindings on an EST board and I loved the Re-Flex feel. A lot more responsive out of turns then my previous EST bindings. I used to ride 2011 Custom Cartel Burton bindings, and I found that these were the closest things to what I was used to. Quick and easy set up and a fun ride.

"Great durable bindings " 12/4/2013
Helpful Review?   (1) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2013 Burton Mission Snowboard Bindings
  • Pros:  toe cap on strap, durable, comfortable
  • Cons:  strap release ,
  • Flex:  mid

Experience:   These are durable bindings that have lasted me for a long time. The boots fit well and the cap on the toe strap works well. They are the perfect flexibility and make maneuvering a board seamless. Fastening and releasing the straps could be a pain at times, especially when it gets cold and icy. Also, after putting a lot of wear and tear the structure is holding up well but the paint and protective layer is coming off.

"Great sturdy binding!" 10/17/2013
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2013 Burton Mission Snowboard Bindings
  • Pros:  flexibility, toe cap, strength
  • Cons:  release mechanism,
  • Flex:  mid

Experience:   Overall great solid binding, really can't go wrong with this. It's got a good amount of flexibility to be able to really get a great edge without feeling like you're slipping out of your boots. It also lasts a good long time, my last pair were good for about 8 years of high use. The only thing that annoys me from time to time is the release mechanism on those cold/wet days, it's literally frozen up on me and sometimes ice/snow can get in there and prevent it from clipping. But really, you're gonna get that with any binding on a cold day.

"Way better then custom" 2/24/2013
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2013 Burton Mission Snowboard Bindings
  • Pros:  Toe cap strap, Soft ankle strap, Last years cartel?
  • Cons:  Ladders can still chip and slip.,
  • Flex:  mid

Experience:   Every one seems to say that Missons are get Cartel hand me down tech. It’s almost always last years Cartel and a very solid choice for all moutnain riding. The toe cap strap is key. The non toe cap straps tend to slip off all the time. This high back is also more solidly built. The plastic seems more responsive but less brittle. I have the restricted version that come with a nicer assym ankle strap. If the price is the same pick up the restricted. It seems to me this is now the solid mid point binding in Burton line that allows riders of any level to enjoy a good ride without. The burton custom's seem to have gotten cheaper over the past few years. If ladders chip and slip. Call burton and they will mail you some new ones.

"Get the cartels" 1/5/2013
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (2) No

  • Name: 2013 Burton Mission Snowboard Bindings
  • Pros:  Comfortable, Stylish, Nice flex
  • Cons:  Not too much cheaper than the cartels.,
  • Flex:  mid

Experience:   I rode these bindings for a while since my friend got a pair of cartels the same week he bought these. I think these are great and comfortable bindings with good response. Yet after trying the cartels, I do not see the point in saving the 50 dollars. In every way the cartels are a little bit better, and that adds up to just a better binding.
