"solid park binding" 1/2/2011
Helpful Review?   (3) Yes    (2) No

  • Name: Burton Mission Snowboard Bindings
  • Pros:  good flex, solid straps,
  • Flex:  mid

Experience:   burton is doing something right with the missions. i havent had any problems with these at all. the new highback from the cartels is pretty supportive but gives it a good response. the only thing i could gripe about is the binding not having a dampening pad so your board doesnt get scratched..

"Great Binding" 12/9/2011
Helpful Review?   (1) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: Burton Mission Snowboard Bindings
  • Pros:  Easy Adjustability, Forgiving,
  • Cons:  No Skyback,
  • Flex:  soft

Experience:   I had these on both a Burton Baron and a Lib Tech Skunk Ape. I found that they flexed very well, and were a good beginner-intermediate binding, and could fit some higher class riders. The only major difference between the 09 and '10 versions are the capstrap. If money is tight I would suggest the '09 version, it will save you some money and the capstrap isn't a huge deal. I would recommend these for beginners to intermediate riders looking to ride the whole mountain!

"Good in Green!" 11/11/2011
Helpful Review?   (1) Yes    (1) No

  • Name: Burton Mission Snowboard Bindings
  • Pros:  Awesome cushioned toe straps! (jelly), Super Light design, Awesome color schemes
  • Flex:  mid

Experience:   I.Love.These.Bindings..... I bought them last year for my Burton Twin and I have fallen in love. I used to own Burton Customs and these are a big step up from those. Cushioned toe straps help with adding some flex to your foot in the bindings and leave you with an overall comfortable ride. These are not the most aggressive bindings but they could hold up with some of the best!

"Sick Missions" 3/15/2011
Helpful Review?   (1) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: Burton Mission Snowboard Bindings
  • Pros:  Awesome speed and control, Throw some power into slashes, Murdered out
  • Cons:  Broke off a Highback, Have to keep tweaking straps,
  • Flex:  mid

Experience:   Overall awesome bindings. From speeding through groomers to powering through powder, these binging have done an awesome job holding me to the board. Easy transitions on the baseplate don't keep you from riding if you want to change up your stance on the mountain. No real cons besides having to tighten them up every once in a while, but I definitely suggest these beauties

"Great bindings!" 2/8/2011
Helpful Review?   (1) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: Burton Mission Snowboard Bindings
  • Pros:  Color is amazing!, Precise control, Comfortable
  • Cons:  The squeak if you reposition the highbacks,
  • Flex:  mid

Experience:   I use these bindings on my Sierra Crew, and they are just perfect! They make the board so responsive, and precise. You can tweak them to your liking, mostly without tools thanks to Burton's tooless design. Straps are very comfortable, rides smooth. Would defiantly recommended, would buy again!

"Ehh...." 12/5/2010
Helpful Review?   (1) Yes    (1) No

  • Name: Burton Mission Snowboard Bindings
  • Pros:  Very Customizable,
  • Cons:  Heavy, Do not last very long,
  • Flex:  mid

Experience:   I've had these bindings for 2 years. I am a mostly freestyle rider. These bindings have too stiff of a flex for my liking. The screws on the straps do not hold well at all and the base plates (both) have cracked on me.

"Good Park Bindings" 10/28/2010
Helpful Review?   (1) Yes    (4) No

  • Name: Burton Mission Snowboard Bindings
  • Pros:  Good Fit, Middle Flex.,
  • Flex:  mid

Experience:   I always have a pair of Mission bindings sitting around. You can never go wrong buying a pair of these. I love to ride this in the park and in the pipe. They also work well for pow. Don't buy this unless you are a seasoned rider.

Comments & Questions

oddman
why should only "seasoned" riders use mission bindings? I cant see how that could be true...

ConDominantOne
tell me why it wouldn't be true?! The missions are a midflex, less forgiving binding that is reccommended for intermediate riders or higher. Shawn White rides them. Is that seasoned enough?

brettg34
This is the dumbest accusation EVER. People choose different flex bindings because its there preference not because there more of a "seasoned rider" than someone else. If that were the case, why doesnt every pro ride the stiffest most expensive bindings out there??? O yea, because its all about choice you moron. A rookie could buy a pair of burton Diodes and not have ANY trouble riding what so ever. Go back to lickin windows on a shortbus kid. 70 Reviews, really? ur horrible kid
