Sierra says: The Moto is a boot for any type of rider whether you are new to the sport or just don't want to spend a lot of money and still want to get the best value in a boot. This season they pimp it out with a nicer foam liner and a new outsole making it even lighter than past years. You can't go wrong with the Moto, it will motivate you to go riding all season long.

Sierra tested the size 4 womens boots with youth feet and youth bindings. A Womans 4 equals a youth 4. We encourage getting youth boots a few sizes big because youngsters do not have fully developed calves, which can create heel lift and they are growning like weeds.

"Good for beginners" 2/18/2009
Helpful Review?   (1) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: Burton Moto Snowboard Boots
  • Skill:  Beginner
  • Pros:  Comfortable, Breathable, Well known brand
  • Cons:  Low quality
  • Fit:  soft

Experience:   I bought these when I was learning, and they were great. However, I had to retire them and buy something with better support and stiffness after just one season, because I had already "grew out of them" (my riding was beyond the ability of these boots). I recommend them as a cheap boot for a beginner, but not for a seasoned rider.

"Bit small for size" 2/7/2012
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: Burton Moto Snowboard Boots
  • Pros:  Tight, Warm,
  • Cons:  small for size, non waterproof,
  • Fit:  mid
  • Flex:  stiff
  • Shoe Size:  11

Experience:   I own this boots. This isn't a good boot for slushy snow. Not much to say about boots but these get wet extremely easy. But without that negative factor they are warm and can get pretty tight. Not the best boots but a good start for beginners and intermediate riders. Freestyle. Little stiff.

"Not great" 1/14/2012
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: Burton Moto Snowboard Boots
  • Pros:  Cheap,
  • Cons:  Not comfortable,

Experience:   My girlfired has these boots, but has huge problems with heel lift and says they are quite uncomfotable around the arch area. May be a fit issue, but the construction does look / feel lower quality.

"Great boots for the price" 9/18/2010
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: Burton Moto Snowboard Boots
  • Pros:  Dry, Comfy, Warm
  • Cons:  Not completely resistant to water,
  • Fit:  mid
  • Flex:  mid
  • Shoe Size:  7
  • Boot Size:  7

Experience:   For the price it's a great boot! After a long period of riding water will get into the boot which I expected. It's mainly for beginners like myself but it works out nicely and it fits normally!

  • Pros:  cheap,
  • Cons:  low quality, not comfortable,

Experience:   Got these boots for my girlfriend and she wore them for about three or four days. In that time two of the seams came apart and they didn't pad out like most boots do. Since they didn't pad out she said they were uncomfortable.
