Sierra Says: If you're looking for a great park board and you don't have a lot of cash to drop,The Burton Primo is the board for you. It's a twin so you know it can handle anything in the park. It comes ready for the park with tuned down edges so you don't catch so easily, and a soft flex keeps you on your feet not matter how sketch your landings are.

Burton Says: The fully-loaded Primo leaves looks of terror on the competition's half-assed attempt at a pocket-friendly park stick. An unstoppable axe of freestyle destruction, the Primo's soft side is matched by an armored-car construction that tears through snow, steel, and pavement without fear for its safety. From murdering street rails, to chopping the park to pieces this is one twin-tipped weapon set to slaughter every inch of this snow-covered planet.

"Great All Around Board" 3/9/2010
Helpful Review?   (1) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: Burton Primo
  • Skill:  Intermediate
  • Use:  Groomed,High Speeds,Low Speeds,Off Trail,Park,Switch Riding
  • Pros:  very stable at high speeds, good flex for jibbing and back country, 10:45 sidewalls don't catch

Experience:   I used this for park and the rolled edges did help. I could really tell the difference between this and my Palmer Honeypro. It was surprisingly very stable at high speeds and does pick up good speed as well. Don't be fooled by the vision speed core, it's hardcore and works very well. A great buy for 130 shipped from Brociety. Sick Graphics, I recommend this board to any rider that wants to progress to park and jumps, but clearly also for riding the trees once in a while.

"Good beginner board, great intermediate board too" 10/26/2011
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: Burton Primo

  • Use:  Groomed,High Speeds,Jibs,Jumps,Low Speeds,Switch Riding
  • Pros:  flexy but sturdy & twin, good pop, graphics
  • Cons:  graphics,

Experience:   Got this board for dirt cheap on wiskey, and id like to say it was worth it. Helped me learn how to snowboard, and start freestyle snowboard. Also use it for all mountain, so this is a pretty good overall snowboard. Great for beginners and will be good when you get better to. Only bad thing is the graphics, I like it, but it attracts a lotta stares lol

  • Pros:  great pop, quite flexible, awesome graphics,
  • Cons:  a little slow,

Experience:   i bought this board last year. it's a great board for beginners who want to improve fast. it's flexible enough for some butters but also stable enough at higher speeds. only problem is, it's a little slow through powder... graphics are without a doubt awesome and i had nowhere in europe problems with it like i read about some resorts in america...

  • Pros:  Dirt Cheap, Sick Graffics,

Experience:   Great board. Bought this last year used it for a year. Most of my friends are advanced riders, and this was a little slower at times. But nothing to be worried about.

"A bloody good board" 7/3/2010
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: Burton Primo
  • Skill:  Intermediate
  • Use:  Boxes,Jumps,Rails
  • Pros:  good manueverabilty and pop, flexible yet sturdy, graphics that stound out yet...
  • Cons:  not good in thick powder, graphics may also cause problems,

Experience:   I'm only an intermediate snowboarder but this board has done me pretty well so far this season... though it's definetly not the best board for days thick with powder like we had earlier this season especially up in Tahoe. Decent pop, manuevers well in the park. Picked it up on Whiskey for $130 (sorry sierra) so the price for performance is unbeatable. *As a note* the reason the baord is so cheap is because some resorts banned the board due to the bloody graphic* I've had no issues and have hit at least 6 different resorts last season in Cali and Az. But still something to be aware of.

Experience:   If your a poor white boy, and you like name brand this is the board to get. Its cheap, but its Burton. This board is realy good at carving and is mainly meant for parks. Its can take some hard landings. Also the board designs look cool. Like the westside one, you will be able to show all those crips whose boss

"Must have for a beginner " 12/12/2009
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: Burton Primo
  • Skill:  Beginner
  • Use:  Butters,High Speeds,Jibs,Jumps,Low Speeds,Switch Riding
  • Pros:  Durable, Lightweight, Easy to carve, Poppy, Stable at high and low speeds, Strong edge hold, Popular brand
  • Cons:  None,

Experience:   Bought this board 2 weeks ago. Don't regret the choice. Even though I'm a beginner this board is perfect!!!! Its very flexible, perfect for the park... Very responsive to turns during high and low speeds. The edges are already detuned so there are no worries for catching anything on the rail. From my point of view this board is MUST BUY for a beginner.
