"Great Board" 10/6/2012
Helpful Review?   (4) Yes    (3) No

  • Name: 2012 Burton Process Flying V Snowboard
  • Skill:  Intermediate
  • Pros:  Very Flexable, Floats on top of powder, Good on kickers
  • Cons:  Catch an edge every so often, Gets sort of choppy on groomers,

Experience:   This board is great, I can seriously take it anywhere. It rips through powder, great in the park, pretty light too. The only thing that I did not like was that when you are going fast on groomers it gets a bit choppy so you have to carve a lot more on the groomed stuff. Other than that I would give this board a 5/5. IT IS GREAT!!!

"Process Flying V Japan" 3/22/2013
Helpful Review?   (1) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2012 Burton Process Flying V Snowboard
  • Skill:  Intermediate
  • Pros:  twintip, ligtweigt, rocker

Experience:   I am riding on the Japan version of that board which is differs by the print only and I wanna say it is the best board I ever tried. I used to ride on several K2, Morrow and Tech9 boards and stopped on this one. It lifts you up in powder and throw you high on a kicker. It is very stable on the low speed and on a groomed slopes and stable enough on others. It is not so good on the ice but what board tooth the ice good?

  • Name: 2012 Burton Process Flying V Snowboard
  • Skill:  Intermediate
  • Pros:  lightweight, good flex,
  • Cons:  loses edge on ice,

Experience:   This is a great all mountain board especially for beginners. It has a great feel to it and is very light. It also has a good flex and pop for those interested in getting started in the park, though it isn't a great park board it can certainly hold its own. The biggest downside that I have experienced riding is that it doesn't hold a very strong edge on ice. Its twin-like shape makes carving easy both regular and switch. I bought this board with the intention of going all over the mountain and it does just that.

"Best Board I've Ever Ridden!" 2/9/2013
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: 2012 Burton Process Flying V Snowboard
  • Skill:  Intermediate
  • Pros:  Light Feel, Nice Soft To Medium Flex, Great Float In Powder

Experience:   I just recently took a trip to Snowmass which gave me a chance to really test it out. I have to honestly say that this board is great everywhere. For being a reverse camber board it holds an edge extremely well. It effortlessly floats through powder. With a softer flex it's great in the park but is still amazingly stable at high speeds. I would definitely recommend the Process to anyone who wants one board to do it all.

  • Name: 2012 Burton Process Flying V Snowboard
  • Skill:  Beginner
  • Pros:  All mountain, Good beginner board,

Experience:   Board seems like a good fit for a beginner moving into intermediate level. The quality of Burton boards has always treated me well. This board is great for all mountain riding, very smooth ride. As for style, I like less flashy and this one is more conservative in that aspect which I like. The shape around the ends of this board are narrower than my Burton Cruzer, it would seem in deep powder it might not do as well with less surface area but I don't see much deep powder anyway.
