"Ride long and prosper.Remember that episode where Shatner was making out with that hot green piece of alien ass? Neither do we, because Kirk don’t ride. The point is, the Cartel EST™ is so advanced it’ll melt your heart just like Shatner’s. This binding is from the future and you’re probably not ready for it. But if you’re one who boldly goes where no man has gone before, then step up. Just don’t forget to make the V with your hand."

  • Name: Burton Restricted Cartel EST Snowboard Bindings - Men's
  • Pros:  Adjustable , Durable, Comfy
  • Flex:  mid

Experience:   Extremely adjustable to fit you perfectly, the EST makes it so easy to get your stance just right without spending much time. The design is well constructed and feels very durable, the only issue I've ever had was because of my big feet the high-back can make it hard to get in and out of the bindings easily, but I just need to get the adjustments down and that'll be fixed. Would definitely recommend, if you can find these, buy them.

  • Name: Burton Restricted Cartel EST Snowboard Bindings - Men's
  • Pros:  Very comfortable, Good flex, Kind of light
  • Cons:  Front strap fell off,
  • Flex:  mid

Experience:   This is the best all mtn binding you can buy in my opinion. This has a med flex which are still great for park and backcountry. This is an all mtn killer. I have this on my custom and its like heaven. Best snowboard buy i haver ever done

"Improved from previous years" 1/6/2011
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: Burton Restricted Cartel EST Snowboard Bindings - Men's
  • Pros:  Stiff, responsive, less forward lean
  • Cons:  forward lean still there ,
  • Flex:  stiff

Experience:   The forward lean that is built in is significantly less than previous years. Also, the bindings felt stiffer than my missions and my customs did. This allowed for a super responsive feel, and prevented me from going over the bars on presses. An all around classic for sure.

"Great Bindings for All Mountain Riders" 1/3/2011
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: Burton Restricted Cartel EST Snowboard Bindings - Men's
  • Pros:  Durable , Light Weight, Great Response
  • Cons:  Too Stiff for Park,
  • Flex:  mid

Experience:   Demo'd this binding and decided to go with the malavitas, but this binding is great in its own right. Super comfortable and stiff which gives great response for people riding the whole mountain. Very durable and dependable. Looks are great but too stiff for my taste since i'm looking to ride more in the park that high speed cruising. Still great and would recommend if you're looking into doing free riding. Definitely more for intermediate to advanced riders since it is a bit on the stiffer side.

"All the binding you need" 12/5/2010
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (1) No

  • Name: Burton Restricted Cartel EST Snowboard Bindings - Men's
  • Pros:  Adjustable, Durable , Comfy
  • Cons:  Heavy / bulky,
  • Flex:  mid

Experience:   Nice bindings! Tons of adjustments to make your own. Fit me well. Some times when taking my foot out for the lift my heal gets stuck in the binding and requires a little shake to release it. They do have a high back but that didn't bother me. If anything it just added support and control. I thought these binding gave great support and allowed for good forward movement. I would recommend these. Seems very well build, heavy duty materials, but light total weight. Great snap release. The sensory gel foot bed is super cushy but still really responsive. I like to ride fast, hit jumps, and go on back sides of the mountain in powder and trees. Performed all of those tasks very well.

"Good Bindings" 10/29/2010
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: Burton Restricted Cartel EST Snowboard Bindings - Men's
  • Pros:  Easy to adjust stance while still in binding,
  • Cons:  None,
  • Flex:  mid

Experience:   I got these bindings to go with my joystick and they work great. Adjusting my stance is super easy and I can do it while still standing in the bindings which makes it really convenient. I tried my board without the EST bindings and these definitely feel a little different. The bottom of the binding is just a soft rubber so you don't have any hard plastic you're standing on. The only down side to this is when there's a lot of chatter in your board you feel it more. Overall these are great bindings and I would recommend them to anyone.
