Experience: These boots are great. I still have and use my 2009 Motos depending on what riding I am doing. I like them too. They are a larger footprint boot, heavier and only one lacing string but easy to adjust upper and lower. Sometimes a good thing there is only one. I thought the reduced footprint would be a problem but it isn't. I use a large 2009 Burton Mission and 2011 Cartel binding. I got the Rulers due to them stating they are lighter and the footprint was smaller but the footprint wasn't the selling point. They fit comfortably the moment you put them on and got better after the first time out. What was very different was they were much lighter; almost like a sneaker compared to my Motos. The separate upper and lower lacing can give better fine tuned adjustments. Could do with a little less lace but reverse the upper and lower handles behind the boot in their holders and it works. They do fit a little smaller in the large bindings but not enough to go to a medium but you will need to adjust the straps. Overall a great pair of boots.
