Burton Sabbath

Burton Says: It's like chugging Dom Perignon while firing an UZI. As the future focused cult classic, the Sabbath defines team-driven freestyle. On the interior, riders like Terje and Trevor Andrew demand nothing less than Rolls-Royce plush. Make no mistake, when it's time to rally, the Sabbath hits the after-burners with cat-like agility and stomp-everything stability. Super cushioned soles dampen the blows from flat landings, while exotic details throughout equate to instant baller status.

Experience:   these are now my backups but before i had used these for at least 3 seasons. they are one of the comfiest boots ive used. the flex on these is almost none. the leather stayed pretty clean and didnt start to desinigrate til my 3rd season with them. it even comes with b3 gel in the soles and has ankle locks.

  • Fit:  mid

Experience:   comfortable, fairly warm, good flex for all around riding. not too soft for high speed cruising but still comfortable for freestyle

"Stiff yet comfy" 5/24/2010
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: Burton Sabbath
  • Pros:  stiff, responsive, comfortable
  • Fit:  mid
  • Flex:  stiff

Experience:   I got the purple ones which look a little crazy, but the quality is great. Worked well out of the box and stayed tight throughout the day. Only con might be that they're not the lightest boots.

"Jesus must have made these personally. " 12/29/2009
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: Burton Sabbath
  • Pros:  Super Comfy!!!, Perfect fit and flex, AMAZING performance and control
  • Cons:  They cost money., I can't make these myself., Burton no longer makes this model.
  • Fit:  mid
  • Flex:  mid
  • Shoe Size:  9.5-10 depending on brand, but mostly 9.5
  • Boot Size:  9.5

Experience:   The Burton Sabbath Boots have to be one of the best boots to have ever blessed the market. They are comfy right out of the box to your first run and don't make your feet ache by the end of the day. I've been riding for 11 years and I would consider myself a hardcore park/all-mountain ripper so I need a boot with good support but not too stiff. This boot is it. I was buttering and hitting rails on my first run without feeling too stiff or hesitant on breaking them in. I went from several pairs of DC's (08' Graphix Boa and 09' Calibers) - also some sick boots, but the Sabbaths truly put them to shame. Sorry DC. So if you get the chance and find a pair of these kickin around some shop or online, BUY THEM!!! PEACE

"velvet magic" 12/28/2009
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: Burton Sabbath
  • Pros:  liner, support, quality
  • Cons:  funky color,
  • Fit:  mid
  • Flex:  mid
  • Shoe Size:  10 or 10.5
  • Boot Size:  8.5

Experience:   I bought these to replace my Ions when i ride with my kids. The ions were to stiff for riding slow and waiting around. But now all i wear are these boots, you can ride all day in comfort and have plenty of support to ride however and where ever you feel like. The best pair of boots I have owned in 16 years of riding.

"good fit for wide toes" 10/13/2009
Helpful Review?   (0) Yes    (0) No

  • Name: Burton Sabbath
  • Pros:  good fit / wide toe box, good tech and quality, acceptable price
  • Cons:  ugly colors, lots of strings,
  • Fit:  mid
  • Flex:  mid
  • Shoe Size:  11
  • Boot Size:  10

Experience:   Sabaths were some of the only boots that both fit my wide toes and didn't feel flimsy. Unfortunately, I was kinda discouraged by all the lacing and the colors were a kindergarten joke. I ended up going with the Salomon dialouge because they fit me a little better, I had already experienced their quality, I prefered their simpler lacing system and they weren't so ugly.
